The Shanghai Disney Resort Instagram account has shared photos of a new floral depicting Nick Wilde from “Zootopia” at the entrance of the park.
Shanghai Disneyland Nick Wilde Floral Arrangement
Shanghai Disneyland has added a new Nick Wilde floral arrangement to the entrance of the park, temporarily replacing its usual Mickey floral. He is centered directly in front of the Shanghai Disneyland entryway. Orange, yellow, black, and white flowers are arranged to create Nick’s face, as he welcomes guests.
To the right of Nick are his sunglasses. The frames are made from yellow flowers and the lenses are red.
To the left of his head is a “pawpsicle.” The top of the “pawpsicle” is made from pink and green flowers while a yellow flowerbed makes up the popsicle stick.
Nick came out to celebrate the arrangement honoring him. He is wearing his police uniform with his signature loosely-fitted tie.
His friend Judy Hopps also came out to show her excitement over Nick’s new floral arrangement. She was previously featured as the entrance floral to celebrate the opening of the park’s Zootopia-themed land.
Nick and Judy continue to see more inclusion in the Disney Parks and on Disney Cruise Line. On December 20, 2023, Zootopia opened to the public at Shanghai Disney Resort. It was the first land in a Disney Park inspired by Zootopia. At the end of April, we got a first look at statues of Nick and Judy that will be in Jumbeaux’s Sweets aboard the Disney Treasure. The characters also appeared for meet and greets at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for Earth Day 2024.
All of this comes after a new Zootopia 3-D show was announced at 2023’s D23 for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The show does not have an opening date, but it will replace “It’s Tough to Be a Bug.”
What do you think of the new Nick Wilde floral arrangement? Are you excited about Disney adding more Zootopia to the parks?
