Full Tour of ‘Frozen’ Royal Banquet of Arendelle in Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea

When Fantasy Springs opens at Tokyo DisneySea this summer, guests will be able to dine inside Arendelle Castle in the port’s Frozen Kingdom area. Tokyo Disney Resort has revealed the first full look inside the Royal Banquet of Arendelle.

Guests will dine in various rooms of the castle. This room features square tables that can be arranged close to each other for a banquet feel.

Guests can also dine in the ballroom where Elsa’s magic powers were first revealed.

Another room featured in the films is the portrait gallery, which Anna dances through during “For the First Time in Forever.”

The walls are packed with paintings, including those inspired by real historical pieces.

Sneak Peek of Disney Treasure Inaugural Season Castaway Club Gifts

Disney Cruise Line shared a first look at the gifts that Castaway Club members will receive in their staterooms during the inaugural season of the Disney Treasure. The ship will set sail on its maiden voyage this December.

Any guest who sails with Disney Cruise Line automatically becomes a Castaway Club member. Members receive special benefits like access to early bookings and gifts on their future sailings. Last year, Disney Cruise Line updated Castaway Club rules to require guests sail at least once every five years to maintain their Club status. The tiers are:

  • Silver: After completing 1 sailing
  • Gold: After completing 5 sailings
  • Platinum: After completing 10 sailings
  • Pearl: After completing 25 sailings

Pearl was introduced with the launch of the Disney Wish.

Silver Castaway Club members who sail on the Disney Treasure during its inaugural season will receive this backpack (or “sea bag”) featuring the ship and golden lettering.

Gold members will receive a blue wet-dry bag with the backpack.

Platinum members receive the backpack, wet-dry bag, and a towel featuring similar artwork as the backpack.

The towel doubles as a game and includes pucks featuring the Disney Treasure wordmark and Mickey heads.

Talent Agency Posts Casting Call for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Commercial at Walt Disney World

Central Florida’s Ariza Talent & Modeling Agency Inc. posted a casting call for a Tiana’s Bayou Adventure B-roll commercial shoot.

The casting call does not state when filming will be but actors will be riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom for the shoot. Kids must be 40″ or taller, the ride’s height requirement. The post notes that the flume ride has a 52.5-foot drop, riders will get “very wet,” and talent will be required to ride “over and over (and over and over)” while conveying “thrills and joy.”

The project is non-union with a rate of $750 + 20% per day for adults and $500 + 20% per day for minors. To submit, contact Ariza Talent & Modeling Agency at 407-332-0011 and/or [email protected].

We’ve seen Tiana’s Bayou Adventure test with water dummies and once with Imagineers (pictured above). It’s set to open at Magic Kingdom this summer but an exact opening date has not been announced. When Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party details were announced, the ride was initially included in the list of attractions that would be open during the party, which starts on August 9. However, Disney removed Tiana’s Bayou Adventure from the list soon after.

Disney Parks Attendance Leveling Out Post-COVID, Lower Demand Expected This Year

During Tuesday morning’s earnings call, The Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger noted that theme park attendance is finally leveling out post-COVID-19 closures and restrictions.

Disney Parks earned $8.3 billion in revenue in Q2 2024, an increase of 10% from the same quarter in 2023.

CFO Hugh Johnston predicts lower demand for theme parks through the rest of this fiscal year. Immediately after COVID-19 lockdowns, there was a large desire for travel that is now waning. But he and Iger emphasized that there are still plenty of bookings, indicating “healthy growth.”

“We still certainly feel good about the opportunities for continued strong growth,” Iger said. “I feel like the parks business is still doing very very well. We’ve got the best in the business in terms of product. People still have a strong desire to basically go on vacation and come to see us.”
