The new “Smellephants on Parade” interactive experience has made its debut in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom.
Smellephants on Parade
Smellephants on Parade is a “search and sniff” activity in Storybook Circus where guests can become a “Whiff-sistant” to Timothy Q. Mouse to find all eight Smellephant statues hidden in Storybook Circus.
Sponsored by Scentsy, each of the “Pink Elephants on Parade”-inspired elephants has a scent diffuser that emits a scent tied to its theme. Guests can begin the Smellephant hunt at the ticket book in front of Big Top Souvenirs, where Cast Members will provide them with an illustrated map of Storybook Circus and a sticker sheet.
The activity will run daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A sign at the entrance of Storybook Circus advertises the new activity with a casting call from Timothy. This sign can be found throughout the land.
New theming has been added near the Storybook Circus station for the Walt Disney World Railroad.
Atop vintage suitcases are scent canisters themed to each of the Smellephants. Eight different varieties of these canisters can be found in Storybook Circus.
For the Churro Smellephant, it reads, “A celebration of cinnamon” and “Churro: a Storybook Circus Original.” Each one of the canisters has a Scentsy logo.
The Caramel Apple canister says, “Amazingly a-peeling” and “A Storybook Circus Original: Caramel Apple.”
The Popcorn fragrance canister says, “A Storybook Circus Original” and “Popcorn: A Buttery Bonanza.”
Pink Lemonade reads, “A Storybook Circus Original” and “Pink Lemonade: The Power of Sour.”
“The pop-ular classic” and “Bubblegum: A Storybook Circus Original,” are printed on the bubblegum canister.
Snow Cone is labeled with, “A Storybook Circus Original” and “An Aromatic Rainbow: Snow Cone.”
For the Cotton Candy scent, it says, “Confectionary perfection” and “Cotton Candy: A Storybook Circus Original.”
Finally, Corn Dog is described as, “A Storybook Circus original” and “Corn Dog: Courageously Corny.”
Also found in the land is a new poster design promoting Smellephants on Parade and the line-up of fragrances.
Smellephants on Parade Map
Here’s a look at the front of the map and the sticker sheet. Spoiler warning: If you’d like to discover all of the Smellephants on your own, we suggest not scrolling further.
The back of the map has a scene of Dumbo flying over four of the Smellephants.
The inside flap of the map features Timothy Q. Mouse.
Inside, you’ll find an illustrated map of Storybook Circus, with arrows pointing to the Smellephant locations. Attached to each arrow is a circle where you’ll place the stickers as you find the statues.
The sticker sheet is designed to look like a ticket. There are eight stickers, each with a symbol matching one of the Smellephants.
“Attached” to the map is a letter written by Timothy, thanking guests for signing up to join Dumbo’s new act and finding the Smellephants.
On the map, Timothy notes that he drew arrows to help guests find the statues.
Bubblegum Smellephant
This bubblegum machine-themed statue was installed on the opening day of Smellephants on Parade. Located by the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station, it looks like a classic bubblegum machine, filled with gumballs. This one has a very faint scent of bubblegum.
The statue is depicted as playing a marching drum with the Smellephants on Parade logo painted on the drum head.
Pink Lemonade Smellephant
To the left of the bubblegum statue is this pink lemonade Smellephant. it smells of citrus and sugar.
Popcorn Smellephant
On the front-right of Dumbo the Flying Elephant, you’ll find this popcorn Smellephant. It gives off a sweet, kettle corn fragrance.
Snow Cone Smellephant
Over by the Lightning Lane entrance to Dumbo the Flying Elephant, you can spot this snow cone Smellephant. This one is faint, with a syrupy scent that you might smell while at a snow cone stand.
Churro Smellephant
The churro statue can be found by the exit of the Walt Disney World Railroad station in Storybook Circus. We couldn’t detect a scent on this one.
Caramel Apple Smellephant
In a flower bed to the right of the Big Top Souvenirs entrance is the caramel apple statue. It smells like an apple-scented candle.
Cotton Candy Smellephant
The cotton candy elephant is near the back entrance of Big Top Souvenirs. This is one of the stronger scents, with a cotton candy or fruity gum fragrance.
Corn Dog Smellephant
Finally, the corn dog Smellephant is located outside of the Pete’s Silly Sideshow meet and greet location. We find that it smells more like fried dough, similar to a funnel cake, than a corn dog.
Completed Map
Once you’ve found all of the statues, you can add the stickers to your map, completing the activity. If you don’t mind spoilers, this is what our map looked like once we found every Smellephant.

Being a Disney World Cast Member isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Not many Cast Members will tell ya that, but I will!
We’re here to talk about Cast Member roles!
The hours are long, the weather is HOT, and people can have some not-so-magical attitudes. I used to work at the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom, and although most of my friends were my fellow maids, I did have a few friends in other roles. Well, friends talk, and you find out the BEST roles to have at Disney World, and you find out the WORST roles to have at Disney World. The consensus among Cast Members might surprise you!
Now, I truly believe that there is value and magic to be made in every single role at Disney World. The parks and hotels truly would not be what they are without every single person who works there. However, there are a few jobs that a lot of folks go into the experience NOT wanting. Like, they’re vehemently opposed to these jobs. Let’s talk about it!
Quick Service Food Locations
When it comes to quick service food locations, a lot of folks don’t like the work because it’s like working at a fast food joint. You’re handling and distributing raw and prepackaged foods, working in an extremely fast-paced and often HOT environment, and dealing with hungry folks all day.
Mobile Order window at Woody’s Lunch Box
Plus, you do rotate throughout your shifts to positions that require you to keep the dining room clean and clean up after folks. Other times, you might be handling transactions at checkout. While a LOT of folks enjoy their quick service jobs, most of my friends didn’t! And that’s okay!
ESPN Wide World of Sports is located on Disney World property and hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year, from runDisney to cheer and dance competitions. A shift at ESPN during these times can include selling merchandise, handing out packets and information, distributing race bibs, and even just…standing there.
ESPN Wide World of Sports
The worst part about this job is during the off-season when nothing is happening, though. The Cast Members either just stand around, help stock, or they’re deployed to other locations — which is often stroller parking at the parks.
Anywhere in Magic Kingdom
While Magic Kingdom is my favorite park to visit, I will admit that I had a few qualms with working there. For one, it’s always very busy. Another, it’s often open later than a lot of the parks. This usually wasn’t an issue, but on the nights that I worked extended evening hours, it wasn’t unusual for me to work from 7PM to 2AM. And then, after I drove home and got ready for bed, I was in bed at like 3:15AM.
Me at the Haunted Mansion
It wasn’t bad, but I won’t say that the weird schedule didn’t annoy me at times. I also know that a lot of pals of mine didn’t enjoy the many, many, many children that were running around the park. Personally, I love kiddos, and this was one of the many highlights of my job. However, it’s not for everybody.
Well…is it what you expected? While I know several people who worked in all of these (and even worked in Magic Kingdom myself) and enjoyed their jobs, they do have the potential to be not-so-magical. But, the good news is that if you keep an open mind and focus on the tiny ways you can make magic and sunshine happen during every shift, your experience has the potential to be phenomenal. I just know it!
We’ll be sure to keep you updated with more Disney news, so make sure to follow along so that you’re always in the loop.

What’s your dream job at Disney World? Let us know in the comments!
This spot opened in late 2022 and we’ve been obsessed ever since. The regular flavors are great, but we especially love trying the new flavors of the month, and with summer on the way, we’ve got a new one to try!
One scoop of any gelato at this cart is $7.50 and two is $9.75. You can split a scoop for an additional $0.75 and get it in a waffle cone for an additional $1.75.
Gelato Menu
This month’s flavor is called Prickly Pear Sorbet! This option has a very unique flavor that we almost have a hard time describing. There’s an aspect of it that tastes like pear, but then there’s something that tastes more more like vanilla or caramel. The best way we can describe it is that we got hints of pear, cranberry (with zero tartness), vanilla, and caramel!
Prickly Pear Sorbet
However, we loved it! It’s very refreshing and tastes more like fruit then the other flavors mentioned, but we love the pleasant surprise the other flavors gave us! Heads up though that it is VERY sweet, and we even felt a bit of a buzz afterwards. Do not order this expecting the sugar content of a fruit juice!
Yum!
Anyone looking for a really refreshing snack in Hollywood Studios should consider giving this a try while it’s the flavor of the month! And even if this isn’t your jam, head over to the cart anyway to check out the others they offer!
Epic Universe’s Super Nintendo World will be home to 3 new rides and attractions but that’s not all you’ll find here! There are also a few interactive elements and meet and greets you’ll find scattered throughout the land that exist to really immerse you into the land! Let’s take a look at what you’ll be able to do here!
Super Mario Land will be home to two attractions, Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge and Yoshi’s Adventure. While Donkey Kong Country will have one attraction, Mine-Cart Madness.
Let’s take a closer look at these rides coming to Super Nintendo World!
Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
We’ve already seen a version of this ride in both existing Super Nintendo World lands in Universal Japan and Universal Studios Hollywood and now it’s time for Orlando to join in on the fun! You will be able to find this ride inside of Super Mario Land in Super Nintendo World.
This ride combines practical sets and decoration along with virtual reality using special glasses to put you right in the driver’s seat of the popular video game series. You will enter through Bowser’s Castle and then hop into your kart as part of Team Mario. Just like in the Mario Kart video games, you will be collecting coins and items, driving through obstacles, and tossing items at Team Bowser.
Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge at Universal Studios Hollywood
Since this is already in existence at other Universal Studios theme parks around the world, it makes sense that Universal Orlando would want to keep the ride similar to what folks already know (and apparently love)! We’ve already taken a spin on this ride at Universal Studios Hollywood so be sure to check it out at the link below!
You will be able to join the Yoshis on a search for glowing eggs throughout Mushroom Kingdom. Don’t worry — Yoshi’s not going to take you out for a speed lap around Super Nintendo World. The brightly colored Yoshi ride vehicles will move at a slow-moving pace making this a great option for the whole family. You will encounter lots of familiar characters and enjoy views of Super Mario Land.
On this attraction you will hop into a mine cart and help Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong protect the golden banana. This ride will send us on a thrilling adventure with lots of jaw-dropping maneuvers like getting shot out of a barrel, jumping over gaps, and more. This “boom coaster” style ride will feature the illusion of jumping over sections of missing and broken tracks.
If you just can’t wait to take a ride along with Donkey and Diddy Kong, you might not have to wait too long if you’re willing to travel! A Donkey Kong roller coaster is being built in Universal Studios Japan called Mine-Cart Madness and is expected to open soon.
Interactive Elements
These fun interactive elements will be scattered all throughout the land allowing its visitors to collectcoins, unlock special areas, and compete in various other mini games featuring some of the most notable Nintendo and Mario characters. If you’re looking to get in on the fun, you can play at your own pace around Super Nintendo World by purchasing a Power-Up Band to link to all of these experiences.
You will be able to collect coins by punching “?” blocks and taking part in interactive activities. You will also be able to collect digital stamps while on attractions, and earn digital keys to be able to showdown against Bowser Jr. There will be even more hidden surprises too, and you will be able to see where you rank on Leaderboard screen in the land.
Mario and Luigi Meet and Greet
In addition to the interactive elements, you will also have the opportunity to meet Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad in various areas within Super Mario Land. Mamma mia!
There’s already so much we’re looking forward to experiencing at Super Nintendo World when it opens at Epic Universe in 2025!

Universal has DROPPED some more Epic Universe information!
Here we go! to Super Nintendo World at Epic Universe
As has become commonplace in the last few months, Universal sent out another medallion for the Chronos statue this week, indicating that details about one of Epic Universe’s new Portals – in this case, Super Nintendo World – was coming. Indeed that was the case, as we have all the information on the Orlando installation of Super Nintendo World’s restaurants!
The Epic Universe version of Super Nintendo World will be bringing similar food options and themed dining experiences that have wow’d guests at the Hollywood and Japanese versions to Universal Orlando, including specialized themed meals, snacks, and desserts.
This cupcake!
Like its counterpart lands, the main culinary draw for Epic Universe’s Super Nintendo World will be the Toadstool Cafe, located in the Super Mario Land section. According to Universal, the restaurant allows diners to “enjoy a variety of tasty dishes inspired by the world of Super Mario and its characters, including Mario and Luigi-themed burgers, Super Mushroom Soup, Piranha Plant Caprese, Fire Flower Spaghetti and Meatballs and so much more. “
The Universal Hollywood version of Toadstool Cafe. Also like its sister locations, Universal promises that guests “get glimpses of several Toads cooking up culinary creations through various virtual windows as they dine inside the restaurant.”
Don’t forget to look up
The land will also feature two walk-up dining locations: Yoshi’s Snack Island and Turbo Boost Treats. Both offer “delicious treats, snacks and beverages.”
Snack Kiosk and Hollywood’s Super Nintendo World
Now that Universal has confirmed the details of yet another Epic Universe land, we’re even more excited for the park to FINALLY open next year. Stick with DFB for more Epic Universe news.
