WARNING: McDonald’s New Happy Meal Toys Could Spoil A New Marvel Movie

Yes, we go to McDonald’s a lot — but can you blame us?

McDonald’s

Not only do we need to satisfy that occasional craving for Chicken McNuggets and those AMAZING fries, but we also love when Disney and McDonald’s team up for new Happy Meal toys. We went a little nuts over those Walt Disney Company 100th anniversary figures. McDonald’s also often releases new Happy Meal toys ahead of a big Disney movie release, but now, some new Happy Meal toys that are coming soon might have just SPOILED a new Marvel movie. Oops.

Captain America: Brave New World isn’t even set to release until February 2025, but McDonald’s is already offering new Happy Meal toys for that movie. The thing is…we haven’t even seen a TRAILER for the movie yet, but these new toys give us some pretty good insight into some of the film’s characters, including HUGE spoilers.

The biggest spoiler here is, of course, Red Hulk, suggesting that he’ll be featured in the movie. Red Hulk’s alternate identity is Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who will be portrayed by Harrison Ford in the film. So are we going to get to see Ford Hulk out? These toys certainly suggest so.  The toys also include two versions of Captain America, Diamondback, Falcon, the Redwing, Captain America’s shield, and Ruth-Bat Seraph/Sabra.

So why are these toys coming out WAY before the movie is scheduled to come out? Well, did someone not tell McDonald’s that the film’s release date was changed? The original release date for Captain America: Brave New World was originally set for May 2024, but it was delayed due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes of 2023So characters that haven’t even yet been confirmed have been spoiled with the toys that are coming out soon.

We’ll have to keep an eye out for more details about Captain America: Brave New World, before it releases on February 14th, 2025.

Stay tuned to DFB for more.

REVIEW: New DOLE Whip Pineapple Ginger Mint Float at Disneyland for AAPI Heritage Month

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Disneyland Resort has several special menu items. Now available at The Tropical Hideaway is the DOLE Whip Pineapple Ginger Mint Float.

Disney also announced The Tropical Hideaway would be getting Shrimp & Chive Potstickers but Cast Members told us that was a mistake.

DOLE Whip Pineapple Ginger Mint Float – $8.49

with pineapple-ginger juice and a smoked salt-spiced rim

A hand holding a cup of swirled pineapple soft serve dusted with spices, with lush greenery and a rustic boat in the background.

This mostly tastes like a traditional DOLE Whip float with some ginger on top. The ginger pairs well with the pineapple flavor. It’s refreshing for a hot day.

The two chunks of charred pineapple were a nice addition that gave the treat some texture. We didn’t get much of the mint flavor.

If you’re not a fan of ginger, definitely skip this. But the ginger has refreshing notes that make this different from a normal float.

Don’t go out of your way for this but if you want to try the new food offerings, this is a good option.
