May 1st is the start date of a few new snacks around the Disneyland Resort, and while some of them sound delicious, we’re not sure how to feel about Sparking Pickle Lemonade.
We’re not kidding, this is an ACTUAL drink arriving in Disneyland at Refreshment Corner tomorrow. However, you’ll also be able to grab the new Cinnamon Roll Pretzel at this spot, which sounds pretty amazing.
Disneyland Refreshment Corner
And while you’re on the new snack kick, head over to Mint Julep Bar for some new Peach Beignets and the new Mango & Peach Mint Julep. And if you’re afraid to spend money on them all until you know if they’re good or not, don’t stress — we’ll be bringing you all the reviews!
Okay, y’all! If you’re on the hunt for delicious food with a side of shopping and entertainment, come along with us to Disney Springs.
Morimoto Asia Street Food
As many of you probably already know by now, Disney Springs is home to all sorts of restaurants, fan-favorite stores, and more. Today, we’re here to chat about Morimoto Asia Street Food, which is a quick service window — as well as its table service location, which just goes by Morimoto Asia. The walk-up window is set on the patio of Morimoto Asia, and features items like sushi, ramen, Morimoto Spare Ribs, and takoyaki (octopus fritters). The main location serves specialty dishes which you can watch be prepared through the chef windows. Well, these restaurants are about to get some NEW menu items. Let’s talk about it!
Morimoto Asia is getting three new menu offerings for lunch! You’ll be able to grab these dishes from 11:30AM to 3:30PM on weekdays:
Katsudon – Panko breaded pork skirt, dashi soy, organic egg, scallions and pickled ginger on top of house-polished white rice. $21
We have enjoyed a lot of the food we’ve gotten here, and the portions are quite large. We might just have to try some of these out for ourselves. We’re at Disney World every single day, and we’re also constantly monitoring for updates so that you can be up to date with menu changes like these.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated so that you never miss a thing!

We’re checking on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure updates every day when we visit Magic Kingdom for any sort of change, big or small. Still, we can’t help but be elated to see changes, such as this MASSIVE one during our most recent visit to the attraction site!
We’re happy to report that the scaffolding on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is visibly down, further indicating that the ride is very close to opening!
No more scaffolding!
The lack of scaffolding really allows the greenery and beauty of the ride to shine in all its glory!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is based on the 2009 Disney animated film The Princess and the Frog and is set to finally open this summer after four years of development. The attraction is replacing Splash Mountain in both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park and will take riders on a log flume adventure featuring movie and New Orleans-themed music, animatronics, and decor.

The old log cabin-style rooms are GONE. Imagineers have completely redesigned those rooms to become the Disney Vacation ClubCabins at Fort Wilderness Resort (note you don’t have to be a Disney Vacation Club member to book a stay in a new cabin). Here’s a peek at the OLD design. Prepare to see a MAJOR transformation!
Fort Wilderness cabin
Look out for over 350 refreshed cabins. Just as we saw in the concept art, the new design features sleek, modern cabins, which Disney explained are “inspired by the resort’s idyllic setting, while also paying homage to the resort’s unique culture and heritage through the magic of Disney storytelling.” The cabins will sleep up to six adults and feature onebedroom, one bathroom, a living room, a full kitchen, and a private patio. Some cabins are also dog-friendly.
OK, enough waiting! Let’s check out the NEW cabins! Each cabin features a full kitchen with coffeemaker, toaster, sink, dishwasher, dishes…
Kitchen
…microwave, oven and stove, and full-size refrigerator! We love the sleek countertops and backsplash.
Appliances
There’s also a dining table in case you want to eat in while you’re staying in these new cabins!
Dining area
In the main living space, there’s also a couch and television…
Couch that turns into a bed
…and the couch pulls down from the wall to turn into a twin-sized bed.
Pull out couch
There’s also a leather chair with a small side table in front of the window (that we weren’t quite allowed to see yet!) But, peep the details on those curtains! We spot Chip ‘n’ Dale!
Seating area
The bathroom is rather spacious and features a sink with vanity and cabinet space just on the outside…
Vanity
…along with a spacious vanity inside the bathroom as well. It’s right next to the toilet, so there’s no separate water closet here.
Vanity
The shower features two different showerheads, including an adjustable one!
Shower
You’ll find Disney-branded body wash, shampoo, and conditioner affixed to the shower wall.
Toiletries
Let’s check out the bedroom! You’ll find a queen bed along with two twin-sized bunk beds. This is a cabin, after all!
Bedroom
In addition to the beds, the bedroom has a dresser and closet space, along with a TV!
Dresser, TV, closet
Here’s another view of those bunk beds. Each oar is themed after a different Disney character! Can you figure out who is who?
Bunk beds
The bunks and regular bed are separated by a nightstand and lamp.

We just love all the touches in here — we think Chip ‘n’ Dale would, too!
So many cute touches!
These new cabins are set to open on July 1st, 2024. If you want to get WAY up close and personal, you can virtually tour the new cabins below, too!
In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.

Sources say that The Haunted Mansion will get a new Bride and a new scene around her. The murderess Constance Hatchaway will reportedly have a “window” behind her made of projections.
The Hitchhiking Ghosts, meanwhile, will reportedly become projections for the mirror effect at the end of the ride, where a ghost “follows you home.”
Guests encounter the trio at the end of the ride before passing mirrors in which they see reflections of the Hitchhiking Ghosts in their Doom Buggies. The reflections are currently achieved with the same Pepper’s Ghost effect that is used in the ride’s ballroom. In short, there are actual figures in another room and their images are projected into the mirrors. The Magic Kingdom version of The Haunted Mansion replaced the Pepper’s Ghost effect at the end of the ride with animations several years ago.
The new grounds will expand on the Mansion’s story, including a “local legend” that the Mansion was built by a sea captain. The gardens will be inspired by Master Gracey, Madame Leota, and the one-eyed cat. Leota’s garden will have elements related to her various incantations. There will be a water fountain, gazebo, statuary, and greenhouse.
The new retail shop, in a carriage house, belongs to Madame Leota. New Orleans Square will also get general enhancements.
The pet cemetery and horse-drawn funeral hearse will both remain.
