Guide to Experiencing Fantasy Springs With Standby Pass or Disney Premier Access

The Tokyo Disney Resort app now includes a guide for how guests will be able to enter and enjoy Fantasy Springs when it opens on June 6. Tokyo DisneySea is currently hosting open-access previews of the land but things will change when it officially opens next month.

How To Enter Fantasy Springs & Ride Attractions

A notification screen with "Fantasy Springs" in decorative text and instructions on obtaining a Standby Pass or Disney Premier Access to enter the park. A blue "Read More" button is at the bottom.

Guests using the Tokyo Disney Resort app will see this pop-up prompting them to “Read More” about how to enter Fantasy Springs.

Infographic explaining entry to Fantasy Springs: obtain Standby Pass (free) or Disney Premier Access (for a fee); present pass at entrance; enjoy attractions and restaurants, optionally using Disney Mobile Order.

When the new port officially opens, guests will need to either obtain a free Standby Pass or purchase Disney Premier Access for a Fantasy Springs attraction to enter the area. These can be acquired through the Tokyo Disney Resort app after entering Tokyo DisneySea.

After obtaining either a Standby Pass or purchasing Disney Premier Access for an attraction, guests must present their park ticket at the entrance to Fantasy Springs.

A list of eligible attractions and two options for accessing them: a free Standby Pass and a paid Disney Premier Access. The list includes Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, and more.

Guests can then use the Standby Pass or Premier Access to ride an attraction. The Fantasy Springs attractions are Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure, and Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies. The first three will use Disney Premier Access and Standby Pass. Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies will only use Standby Pass.

The guide in the Tokyo Disney Resort app has buttons leading guests to Standby Pass or Disney Premier Access. Standby Pass allows guests to line up at an eligible attraction at a specified time. Disney Premier Access allows guests to select a designated time to experience eligible attractions with a reduced time. They’re similar to a virtual queue and Lightning Lane access at the U.S. parks.

Instructions on using a Standby Pass or Disney Premier Access for entry and attraction experiences at Tokyo Disney Resort, with example images of a park ticket and an attraction screen code.

After obtaining a Standby Pass or Disney Premier Access for a Fantasy Springs attraction, the entry time for the land will be displayed on the park ticket screen of the Tokyo Disney Resort app. A page with a QR code shows the entry time for the specific attraction, which guests can present at that attraction to enter.

FAQ

Text document with a Q&A format regarding the "Valid time of entry to Fantasy Springs" and its distinction from the "eligible time to experience the attraction.

FAQ explains that the valid time of entry to Fantasy Springs and the eligible time to experience the attraction are different.

A sign detailing entry procedures for Fantasy Springs, including timing and re-entry rules, part of the Tokyo Disney Resort App guidelines.

For example, a valid time of entry to the land may be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The guests then cannot enter Fantasy Springs after 2 p.m. However, if they enter Fantasy Springs during the provided window, they can stay in the land for as long as they want. Re-entry is not permitted for most guests, even during their valid time of entry. Refunds will not be provided for Disney Premier Access.

Guests with a 1-Day Fantasy Springs Magic Passport or guests staying at Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel may re-enter the land.

Text explanation about entry to the Fantasy Springs attraction at Tokyo Disney Resort, stating that guests can still enter when the attraction is suspended, as long as they have a valid ticket.

If the attraction a guest has Standby Pass or Premier Access for suspends operations, they can still enter Fantasy Springs during their entry window.

How to Dine at Restaurants

Screenshot of a Disney Mobile Order webpage showing instructions and information about park tickets and ordering food online. Includes details on eligible restaurants, order pickup, and time slots.

Guests should use Disney Mobile Order in the Tokyo Disney Resort app to dine at eligible quick-service restaurants in Fantasy Springs: Royal Banquet of Arendelle, Lookout Cookout, and The Snuggly Duckling. Oaken’s OK Foods and the popcorn wagon will not use Mobile Order.

When Mobile Order, guests can select different time slots to pick up their food. Available time slots are shown according to the guests’ valid entry window to Fantasy Springs. After creating a Mobile Order, guests go to the restaurant during their time slot and click “I’m Here.” They must present the screen that shows their order to a Cast Member in the restaurant to pick up their food.

A screenshot of a Q&A about Disney Mobile Order: If a guest misses the arrival time, the order is canceled automatically. Payments won't be processed. Reorder for designated time slots within valid entry time.

If a guest can’t pick up their Mobile Order because they have exited Fantasy Springs or are experiencing an attraction, they should not hit “I’m Here.” The order will be canceled automatically. If they hit “I’m Here” and then do not pick up their order, payment will be processed and a refund will not be provided.

Shanghai Disneyland Announces New Musical Stage Show ‘The Adventure of Rhythm’

Shanghai Disneyland has announced “The Adventure of Rhythm,” a new limited-time live stage show premiering in June.

The Adventure of Rhythm

"The Adventures of Rhythm" poster. A child holds a glowing wand, illuminating musical notes and silhouettes of dancing figures against a dark background. Chinese text and event dates are displayed at the top and bottom.

“The Adventure of Rhythm” will be at the Storyhouse Stage in Adventure Isle from June 3 to October 7, 2024. The show takes guests “on an adventurous musical journey around the world, combining different music styles with distinct rhythms, live performances, beloved Disney stories and rarely-seen Disney characters.” There will be different versions of the show.

A group of performers dance in front of a backdrop of stacked glowing boxes with musical notes. A single performer sits in a spotlight on the left, operating control panels or machinery.

The original story follows a team of archeologists who specialize in researching music and instruments from cultures around the world. They are in Adventure Isle to share the stories and rhythms of their travels. They set off on a journey to find the “Rhythm of Adventure” with an original musical number featuring live drummers and dancers.

A costumed character dressed as Marie, a white cat, performs on stage with five dancers dressed in red hats and matching outfits, striking poses with their arms up. A cityscape backdrop is behind them.

“The Adventure of Rhythm” features five music styles: regional, big band, hip hop, Latin jazz, and pop. In different versions of the show “each of the five music styles takes [guests] on one of two adventures.” Each adventure features different characters.

Performers dressed as Aladdin and Genie dance on a brightly lit stage with background characters and props under colorful spotlights.

“The Adventure of Rhythm” will include music from “Moana,” “Mulan,” “Pinocchio,” “The Aristocats,” “The Lion King,” “Aladdin,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” and “Turning Red.”

Full Guide to Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea

Fantasy Springs is the eighth “port” at Tokyo DisneySea and the park’s largest expansion since it opened in 2001. Officially opening on June 6, 2024, guests and Cast Members experienced previews of the land in the weeks beforehand.

Fantasy Springs Overview

Illustrated map of Tokyo DisneySea including Fantasy Springs
Tokyo DisneySea map featuring Fantasy Springs

Fantasy Springs is located between Arabian Coast and Lost River Delta. It features areas inspired by “Frozen,” “Tangled,” and “Peter Pan,” and the in-park Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel.

The story of the land, told through storybook panels at Fantasy Springs Gifts, says that a spirit lived in a magical spring. The spirit cultivated the gardens and water features. She traveled and encountered enchanted stories, which she then brought to life at Fantasy Springs through sculptures and songs. A Duchess eventually found the spring and built herself a summer home, which later became a palace for her friends — the Fantasy Springs Hotel. Guests who visit Fantasy Springs are transported into the stories of “Frozen,” “Tangled,” and “Peter Pan” via the spirit’s magic. Other Disney stories are represented in the land’s rock carvings.
