‘Special Spice’ Song From Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Now Available on Music Streaming Services

“Special Spice”, the new original song from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, is now available on music streaming services.

‘Special Spice’ From Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

A person wearing headphones and a red plaid shirt sings into a microphone in a recording studio.

Disney Parks fans can now stream “Special Spice” from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music. The song’s title was announced during the second episode of “We Call It Imagineering”.

“Special Spice” is composed by PJ Morton, a Grammy Award-winning artist from New Orleans. It is performed by Anika Noni Rose, the actress who voiced Tiana in “The Princess and the Frog” and will reprise her role as Tiana in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

The song’s release comes just four weeks ahead of the June 28 opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom.

As the attraction prepares to open to the public, construction walls have started to come down. Yesterday, the official attraction sign was revealed for the first time. Guests visiting the park today will see that another sign has been revealed.

A sign reading "Tiana's Bayou Adventure" stands in front of a rocky background with greenery and blue sky overhead.

Earlier this week, the latest episode of “We Call It Imagineering” offered fans their first look inside the attraction. Fans were able to see the first on-ride footage of the log cruising down the bayou, which offered glimpses of some of the new scenes in the attraction.

An illuminated sign reads "Welcome to Fleur du Bayou, Home of Princess Tiana & Prince Naveen" above a vibrant, lively scene with characters celebrating outside a decorated building at night—it's all part of what we call imagineering.

Marvel Studios and ILM Immersive’s What If…? – An Immersive Story isn’t Disney’s first foray into augmented reality storytelling, but it is their first to be exclusive to Apple Vision Pro. Disney Shares More On-Ride Footage of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Finale

In a new Instagram Reel from Disney Parks and the Walt Disney World Ambassadors, Disney has shared more footage of the finale scene on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, as well as a snippet of the ride’s original song.

A group of people in patterned shirts, ties, and yellow hats smile and lean against a wall covered with posters, their attire reminiscent of a fun bayou adventure.

The Reel begins with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Cast Members (wearing their new costumes), listening up against a construction wall with Disney cups, as the original song “Special Spice” plays somewhat muffled.

Long-exposure photo of a lit-up display with "Welcome to Fleur du Bayou, Home of Princess Tiana & Prince Naveen" sign overhead. The scene depicts characters from "The Princess and the Frog" in a festive bayou adventure setting.

The video then transitions to the on-ride footage, showing the many audio-animatronics in the finale scene, with Tiana singing as guests float by.

You can watch the video for yourself below:

The on-ride experience for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure got a big reveal earlier this week with the release of the latest episode of the “We Call It Imagineering” web series, which focused on the music for the attraction, as well as the reimagined Country Bear Musical Jamboree. The video shared clips of several scenes of the attraction, including the finale.

Another New Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Sign Uncovered at Magic Kingdom

Following yesterday’s debut of the official attraction sign for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and most construction walls coming down, another sign for the ride has been unveiled in Magic Kingdom.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Sign

A wooden building with a purple and green sign reading "Tiana's Bayou Adventure," surrounded by green hedges. A person is seated on the right side near the building.

We spotted the back of this sign yesterday, still surrounded by construction walls. Those walls have since come down overnight and have been replaced by temporary rolling planters.

A wooden building with a sign that reads "Tiana's Bayou Adventure" is partially obscured by hedges. The sign is decorated with hanging lanterns.

Similar to the purple sign a few steps behind in Frontierland, this sign is purple with a green border, and features the logo for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on the front, with a green arrow above pointing to the left.

A smaller brown sign hangs from the bottom and reads, “Frontierland Railroad Station.” During our visit, the Walt Disney World Railroad was not running, and guests were not allowed to go past the stairs leading down to the station, likely to allow Disney media to continue filming without interruption by guests. Additional rolling planters have also been placed to block off areas that were previously accessible to guests.

Tiana Finale

Earlier this week, fans got a first look inside the attraction, thanks to the release of the latest episode in the Walt Disney Imagineering series, “We Call It Imagineering.” The episode focused on the creation of the music for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Country Bear Musical Jamboree, but showcased on-ride footage of the former, along with a first listen of the original song created by Grammy Award-winning New Orleans musician PJ Morton, “Special Spice.”

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens to all guests on June 28, following previews for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, D23 Gold Members, and Cast Members.
