BREAKING: Starfall Racers Renamed to ‘Stardust Racers’ at Epic Universe Due to Trademark Infringement

Universal Orlando Resort has changed the name of the roller coaster that will be part of Celestial Park in Epic Universe — Starfall Racers — due to trademark infringement.

Starfall Racers Name Change

The roller coaster has been renamed to “Stardust Racers,” with every reference to “Stardust Racers” on the Universal Orlando website updated to the new name.

This change comes after Starfall Education Foundation filed a lawsuit in the Colorado District Court earlier this month, claiming that Universal “misappropriated” the Starfall brand “to target and attract children.”

The newly-named Stardust Racers, along with the rest of Epic Universe, will open next year.

American Adventure Gallery in EPCOT Closed for New ‘Portraits of Courage’ Paintings by George W. Bush

The American Heritage Gallery in the American Adventure Pavilion of EPCOT is now closed to make way for the “Portraits of Courage” exhibit by President George W. Bush.

American Heritage Gallery

A closed doorway labeled "The American Heritage Gallery" with white double doors and a sign indicating it is temporarily unavailable.

The gallery doors are closed and a sign reads “Exhibit Unavailable.” Panels cover the old display cases to either side of the doors.

Since July 2018, the gallery has housed the exhibit “Creating Tradition: Innovation and Change in American Indian Art,” which displayed “authentic, historical Native artifacts alongside contemporary works of American Indian art — demonstrating examples of cultural traditions which have been handed down through generations.” The collection was made in collaboration with the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) in Washington, D.C.

“Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors” will feature over 60 oil paintings by President Bush. The paintings depict service members and veterans who have served in military uniform since 9/11. Each piece is accompanied by the story of the subject, written by President Bush. The exhibit initially debuted in 2017 at the George W. Bush Presidential Center on the SMU campus in Dallas, Texas.

According to Cast Members at The American Adventure, artwork in the rotunda will also be replaced with “Portraits of Courage” paintings.

A painting depicts construction workers on a high-rise building, with one worker prominently hanging from a crane hook. A cityscape forms the background. An American flag is displayed to the right of the painting.

These unique paintings were created by Walt Disney Imagineering for The American Adventure. We don’t know if all or just some of the paintings will be replaced, or when they might return.

The American Heritage Gallery lists hours beginning on Friday, June 7. Disney previously stated “Portraits of Courage” will have its grand opening on Sunday, June 9.

Breeze Airways ‘Disney to Disney’ Budget Flights Resume

Breeze Airways budget flights between Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort have resumed.

A Disney-themed airplane from Breeze Airways soars over a scene featuring two majestic castle structures, set against a blue sky with fluffy clouds.

Guests can now begin booking nonstop flights between the two domestic Disney Parks through Breeze Airways. The flights travel between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and John Wayne Airport (SNA). Tickets will start at $89, one way. The are available for Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Saturdays.

A blue Breeze Airways airplane is parked at Gate 30, with ground crew and equipment servicing the aircraft, readying it for one of its popular Disney to Disney flights.

The return of the “Disney to Disney” flights was announced in December 2023, after being put on pause in September. The flights were initially scheduled for February 2024, but June is the first time they have become available this year.

A customer is standing at an airline check-in counter labeled "Breeze." Two digital screens above display the Breeze Airways logo.

The Breeze Airways offering was launched in 2023 as a first-of-its-kind budget service between Orlando and Santa Ana. At the time, Breeze offered a $69 fare as an introductory rate. Flights were scheduled once per day, departing from California in the morning, and returning from Florida in the evening.

We reviewed the experience when it first launched last year. Watch our full review of a Breeze Airways “Disney to Disney” flight below:
