The Orange County Register has confirmed that Disney California Adventure will reduce performances of Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje and Citizens of Buena Vista Street.

Disney California Adventure Entertainment Cuts

The shows were both previously performed daily but will cut back on performances by 20 percent or more in July. Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje will not be offered on select Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Citizens of Buena Vista Street will not be offered on most Thursdays and Fridays.

Disneyland officials confirmed the schedule changes to OCR and said Disney California Adventure continually evaluates entertainment offerings and makes adjustments.

We previously reported on several rumored cuts, including all Avengers Campus entertainment. Since then, Disneyland Resort has updated its events calendar to include performances of Avengers Assemble!, The Amazing Spider-Man!, Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!, Five & Dime, and Operation: Playtime! – featuring the Green Army Patrol through July 25, the furthest the calendar currently goes.

Like Warriors of Wakanda and Citizens of Buena Vista Street, some of this entertainment is not scheduled for select days. Avengers Assemble! is not listed on any Thursdays or Fridays going forward. Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off! is not scheduled for Sundays, Mondays, or Tuesdays.

The Disney California Adventure entertainment reductions come alongside the closure of “Dr. Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” and the early end of Club Pixar entertainment.
