Final Themed Traffic Signal Repaired at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

All of the themed traffic signals on Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios have now been refurbished and repaired.

We noticed the last one was running smoothly during our most recent trip to the park.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Traffic Signals

People walking in Disney's Hollywood Studios with palm trees and buildings. Signs and storefronts are visible in the background. The sky is partly cloudy.

This traffic signal is located outside Celebrity 5 & 10 and The Trolley Car Cafe. The post is striped with black and white chevrons. The silver stoplight on top has red and green lights.

A busy street scene in a themed park with a retro-style traffic signal on a pole, a crowd of people walking, and an art-deco building in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

A red sign on the side reads “Stop.” It periodically switches with a sign reading “Go.” These are inspired by retro mechanical traffic signals.

A vintage stoplight with red and green lights stands at the intersection of Vine St. and Hollywood Blvd., against a backdrop of building and palm trees under a partly cloudy sky.

Guests will sometimes hear dings and see the lights and signs change. The effect is just for ambiance and isn’t actually to direct traffic. Watch our video of this signal below.
