Senior concept designer Lina Barr is currently finalizing custom artwork for Disney Treasure venues. Barr’s work has also been displayed on the Disney Wish.

Barr’s creative process begins with a conversation with the Walt Disney Imagineering team, where she learns about the theming of each venue, from the Agrabah-inspired Grand Hall to the Jungle Cruise-inspired lounge, Skipper Society. The meeting is a “collaborative brainstorm” between artists and interior designers. The conversations “empower Lina to develop dynamic artwork that will complement each space onboard.”

A young boy and a large bear are in a lush jungle setting, surrounded by dense foliage and ancient ruins with inscriptions. The scene appears lively and sunlit.

After talking with Imagineers, Barr creates rough sketches on her computer. She then adds color and details. These details include hidden Mickeys and story-driven Easter eggs. Barr “loves watching guests react to her designs as they encounter secret storytelling that only true Disney fans would notice.”
