First Look at 2024 runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas Themes & Challenge Medal

Before registration opens next month, runDisney shared details of this year’s Virtual 12Ks of Christmas, including a first look at one of the medals.

The runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas will be from December 1 through December 31, 2024. Last year was the first Virtual 12Ks of Christmas event.

This December, cozy up to some Yuletide fun for everyone during the holiday-themed runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas! Gather your friends and family for a little Disney magic with this jolly Challenge made up of three virtual 4K races hosted by favorite Disney friends. Even more festive…each of the race medals (three 4K medals and one Challenge medal) doubles as an ornament. And not only will you have access to customizable digital tools, but participating in this series will also let you unwrap exclusive swag like a long-sleeve hooded shirt, a holiday Corkcicle mug and a box of Twinings holiday tea. Talk about a happy holiday!

The Challenge medal is shaped like a Mickey ear hat. Daisy, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald are pictured in winter scarves on the front. Mickey is in a wreath on the right ear and Minnie is on the left. A red and green runDisney charm is above the ear hat. The charm clips onto the medal lanyard or an ornament ribbon.

The first 4K’s theme is Donald and Daisy. Artwork for the race features the couple in red versions of their standard outfits.
