FIRST LOOK Inside the NEW Rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Tower in Disney World

Have you been looking for a tropical island-like vacation within Disney World

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Well, we have some great news for you! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has been under construction for quite some time, and this new hotel tower will soon be complete! Later this year, the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows will open, and Disney just gave us a sneak peek at the rooms!

Disney Vacation Planner

This new tower is expected to open on December 17th of this year! Part of the Disney Vacation Club, this 10-story tower will feature rooms of different sizes to accommodate different-sized parties. Of course, like its predecessor, The Polynesian Village Resort, these rooms will take inspiration from the Polynesian Islands and even feature custom artwork from Moana!

These rooms were also designed with sustainability in mind! The rugs and carpets inside the rooms are made from primarily recycled bottles! Disney Vacation Club tries to make its properties feel like home and offer all the amenities you would need to feel like you are there.

Construction on the Island Tower

Now let’s look into the rooms that will be offered!

Similar to Disney’s Riveria Resort, the Island Tower will feature rooms made for two in their duo studios!

Families of four were also considered, and four people can comfortably sleep in a deluxe studio. Typically, Disney Vacation Club studio rooms offer a small kitchenette that usually includes a sink, mini fridge, toaster, and microwave. Well, at the Island Tower, deluxe studios will consist of a dishwasher! This makes it even easier to enjoy your vacation, as you do not have to worry about doing dishes in a small sink. This feature will also help with sustainability as it reduces the waste of single-use plastics like plastic utensils.

If you need more space, the Island Tower will also have one and two-bedroom villas available! Like other Disney Vacation Club resorts, these rooms will feature a full kitchen, outdoor patio, and even your own washer and dryer.

If you are looking to stay in style, you can stay in the Island Tower’s Two-Bedroom Penthouse Villas. These Penthouses will offer picturesque views of Seven Seas Lagoon as well as the Magic Kingdom, making it perfect to watch Magic Kingdom’s nighttime entertainment right from your room!
