Recently the company has faced lawsuits from Cast Members and Disney Parks visitors, as well as a lawsuit concerning the company’s new sports streaming service. Disney was also recently sued by Disneyland Magic Key holders, which ended in Disney agreeing to settle. A judge ordered a settlement in that lawsuit and details were finalized. Now, those details have been released about when Magic Key holders can get their payout from that settlement.

To backtrack, a $9.5 million class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of Disneyland Magic Key holders claiming that Disneyland misled those who purchased the Dream Key pass by limiting capacity and restricting reservations to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, although that pass offered the promise of “no blockout dates.”

A final judgment was ordered on March 4th, and as a result, 103,431 Dream Key holders will get about $67 each. Those Magic Key holders should have received a notice from a settlement administrator via email or regular mail. According to The New York Times, those payments will begin going out this month.

Dream Key pass holders should receive a payment of around $67.41 by either email or electronically starting in mid-June (aka, as in SOON). Those receiving payments should have already chosen their preferred payment type.

The lawsuit’s plaintiff, who paid $1,300 for the pass, will receive a $5,000 payment.

The Dream Key pass has since been discontinued and is no longer available. In addition to theme park admission, the pass also offered up to 15% discounts on select Disneyland Resort restaurants and 20% off select Disneyland merchandise.

In the meantime, sales are paused for all Magic Key passes, although renewals are still being allowed. Passes are limited, so sales won’t reopen again until there’s more availability. If you were hoping to get a Magic Key pass, you’ll just have to wait.
