OK, Disney Adults. You Need To Hear Our Hotel Discount WARNING If You Have Trust Issues

You watch as that price drops when you apply a discount, and it feels GLORIOUS. However, there’s a problem here that we need you to know about — discounts on hotel stays are fantastic and all fun and games, until you realize the discount isn’t what it said it would be.

You’ve already taken the first step: you’re on the Disney Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts page to try to save money — whoo hoo! For this example, let’s look at one of the current deals available on the page, which is the “Save up to 30% on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels when you stay 5 consecutive nights or longer—or save up to 25% on shorter stays. This offer is valid for stays most nights from July 8 to October 3, 2024.” deal.

This sounds fantastic upon first glance, right? Well, unfortunately, things aren’t totally as they seem. When reading the fine print, you’ll see that the discount doesn’t just rely on how many nights you stay, but also WHERE you stay. At the following resorts, you’ll only receive 10% off your stay.

To save 20% on stays 5 or more nights OR to save 15% on stays that are 1-4 nights, you can stay at:

To save 25% on stays 5 or more nights OR to save 20% on stays that are 1-4 nights, you can stay at:

To save 30% on stays 5 or more nights OR to save 25% on stays that are 1-4 nights, you can stay at:

See? Getting the full discount Disney advertises is much harder than it seems, and there are even some hotel options you can’t use the discount on AT ALL!

  • Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs
  • The Cabins at Copper Creek Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

  • Deluxe Studios and 2-Bedroom “Lockoff” Villas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House
  • The Cabins and Campsite at Disney’s Fort Wilderness
  • Any Club Level Rooms and Suites across Disney’s Moderate and Deluxe Resort hotels.
