Canadian guests are eligible to purchase advance Lightning Lane passes in the same manner as guests in the United States when the new system goes into effect at Walt Disney World Resort.

Canadian Guests Eligible to Purchase Advance Lightning Lane Passes

Earlier this week, we reported that international guests would not be able to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Single Pass before arriving in the United States. However, today Disney confirmed that guests in Canada will be able to purchase advance Lightning Lane passes in the same manner as guests in the United States.

This means that Candian guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can reserve Lightning Lane passes up to seven days before their stay begins. They can then book advance Lightning Lane passes for their entire trip up to 14 days. Canadian guests who are not staying at an eligible Walt Disney World Resort hotel will be able to make their reservations up to three days before their trip.

For guests who are not in the US or Canada, Lightning Lane purchases cannot be made until they arrive in the United States.

The new Lightning Lane system will go into effect on July 24, 2024. Guests who purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass will be able to make up to three reservations in a single park each day of their trip. The new system will categorize each attraction into one of two tiers. Guests may select one option from Tier 1 and two options from Tier 2 before arriving.

Some of the EPCOT logo merchandise released in 2019 has been restocked in Creations Shop.

EPCOT Logo Merchandise

This EPCOT logo merchandise was originally released to coincide with the reveal of the new EPCOT logo and the opening of Walt Disney Imagineering presents the EPCOT Experience, which teased the park’s reimagining. The restocked merchandise is a long-sleeve tee and a short-sleeved tee, plus a redesigned version of the 2019 water bottle.

Tervis Bottle – $39.99

The bottle is black with a sleeker stainless steel finish than the original. The futuristic EPCOT logo is in white. Below the logo is a row of dots creating a color gradient.

New to this design are thin yellow, green, and blue stripes near the bottom of the bottle. It also has a slightly sparkly finish.

The black plastic lid includes a button to open and a lock.

A straw is built in. The bottle is 26 oz / 769 mL.

Long-Sleeved T-Shirt – $39.99

This shirt is solid black. “EPCOT” is across the chest in white. The colorful circles are in a row below the logo, creating a yellow-to-red gradient.

Short-Sleeved T-Shirt – $29.99

Last is the short-sleeved shirt. This is essentially the same design as the long-sleeved tee, with “EPCOT” and the colorful dots on the chest.
