PHOTOS: Large Stage Constructed in Front of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A large stage has been erected at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

A large outdoor stage setup in front of a replica Chinese theatre with clear blue skies and several people walking nearby, reminiscent of the vibrant atmosphere at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The temporary stage is located in front of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in the Center Stage area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In addition to the stage, there are various tents and a trailer set up in the area.

Disney has not announced any events in the coming days, so the stage is likely for the June 5 SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference Orlando. Because of the private event, the park will close at 5:30 p.m., with conference guests having access to the park from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The SAP Sapphire site lists a performance from Maroon 5 happening at the Center Stage from 9 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.

A temporary trailer can be seen just to the right of the stage. It is blocked off with rolling planters, as is a tent directly behind it.

An additional tent has gone up on the front side of the stage. You can also see trusses up on Hollywood Blvd., possibly for additional stage lighting.
