Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Not Yet Operating on First Day of Passholder Previews

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom is not open yet on the first day of Annual Passholder previews.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Not Open for Passholder Previews

A phone screen displays a virtual queue for "Tiana's Bayou Adventure Annual Passholder Preview" at Magic Kingdom Park, with a cartoon beaver character and details about the queue and wait time. The ride is not yet operating, but eager passholders can get an exclusive sneak peek.

Passholders were able to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at 7 a.m. on Thursday, June 13. The park opened at 8:30 a.m. for early entry and then at 9 a.m. to all guests. As of 9:47 a.m., the ride has not opened and no boarding groups have been called.

An outdoor amusement park ride, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, features empty log boats on a water track, surrounded by green trees, various plants, and rocky landscaping under a clouded sky. Currently not yet operating but soon available for Passholder Previews.

Once we got into the park and checked on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we could see that the ride was indeed not running.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure had significant downtime during Cast Member previews. Tom and Eric also shared some of the technical difficulties they experienced during media previews in their honest review. Previews are still part of testing after the former Splash Mountain ride system sat dormant for a year and a half — and Splash Mountain experienced hours of downtime in its later years. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will officially open on June 28 and hopefully, most issues will be ironed out by then.
