Disney World just keeps changing, and it’s hard to keep up!
Pop Century Resort
Recently, a new ride opened in Magic Kingdom, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and a classic ride, Country Bear Jamboree, reopened with a new show. That park is also getting a huge expansion. Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be getting an update, too, while two new restaurants are being built over at Disney’s BoardWalk Hotel. We’ve also seen some recent pool closures at Disney World hotels, but an entire food court at one hotel is going to be affected by construction soon.
We were recently informed by some of our readers that Disney sent emails to hotel guests letting them know about work to be done at the food court at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Everything Pop. The food court, which is located in the Classic Hall building (where you’ll find the lobby) is the hotel’s main dining spot.

The email states that the Everything Pop Food Court will be getting refreshed, but that it will remain open while work is being done. Note that all hotel guests will need to use Mobile Order in the My Disney Experience app to place their food and drink orders there. Seating will also still be available in the dining room.

This information is also on the Disney World website on the Pop Century page. Note that the work is set to begin on July 29th and run through September 29th. Since the food court remains open, we don’t think it should impact the menu too much.

Because Pop Century is part of the Skyliner line, you also can take a quick ride on that mode of transportation to grab food at any of the EPCOT Resorts (Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin), Disney’s Caribbean Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort. So you’ll have plenty of convenient food options if you feel like leaving your hotel!
