ALERT: Two of Magic Kingdom’s POPULAR Shows Down for EXTENDED Closure

Things change so much at Disney World that it’s hard to keep up with everything.

Cinderella Castle

In Magic Kingdom, we just recently saw the opening of a brand new ride, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. We’re also gearing up to see what Disney has planned for the big Magic Kingdom expansion. Sometimes, though, things close in Disney World, and we’ve got a big update about some entertainment at Magic Kingdom that will be temporarily suspended.

If you’ve ever made it to Magic Kingdom for role drop, you’re sure to have caught the Let the Magic Begin show that happens on the Cinderella Castle stage in front of the castle. During the show, Mickey, Minnie, and their friends welcome you to Magic Kingdom and wish you a magical day. This show has been temporarily canceled for the next three weeks.

You’ve probably also seen Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire, which you can catch several times throughout the day in Magic Kingdom. This show also takes place on the Cinderella Castle stage. For now, this show has also been temporarily suspended.

Both shows are set to return on July 28th, so these closures are temporary. In the meantime, you can still catch other entertainment in Magic Kingdom like the Festival of Fantasy Parade, the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, and the Happily Ever After fireworks nighttime show — check the My Disney Experience app for times.

Also, be sure not to miss the Dapper Dans, who you can catch performing on Main Street, U.S.A., as well as Casey Corner’s pianist at Casey’s Corner on Main Street, U.S.A. Again, check the My Disney Experience app for showtimes.
