“Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire” and “Let the Magic Begin” will not be performed for the next three weeks, as a Cinderella Castle stage refurbishment takes place.

Two stage shows that take place in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom will not be performed due to a stage refurbishment that will take place over the next three weeks. Guests will not be able to view the full performances of “Let the Magic Begin” or “Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire” until they return on July 28.

This refurbishment is likely to get the stage ready for the holiday season, as both Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party each have shows that take place on the stage.

An empty stage area with a stone staircase and distant towers sets the scene for Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire, with a few scattered visitors in the background on a sunny day. Let the magic begin as performers get ready to dazzle!

We were able to get a look at the stage on our trip to Magic Kingdom today. The refurbishment has yet to begin, and there are no visible construction materials.
