Don’t you just love a good hack, especially when you’re visiting Disney World?
Whether you’re talking about hacks like rope dropping, staying on budget by using Disney gift cards, or getting plenty of free ice water around the parks, we really do love saving time, money, and effort! To that point, we wanted to pick your brain on hacks you use at Disney World.!
We reached out to our followers on Facebook to ask: “What’s your favorite 30-second HACK to use in Disney World?” We had quite a few people leave their opinions in the comments!
Now, let’s dive into some of your top responses!
Don’t Forget About The Kids Menu
You’d be so surprised to know that there are so many people who do not know that you don’t have to be a kid in order to eat from the kids’ menu at quick service restaurants in Disney World. It makes so much sense as a hack as they tend to be decently portioned meals at a fraction of the cost.
To this point, DFB reader Rob shared, “Eating kids meals. Saves you money, plenty of food, and a drink is included.” One caveat: You probably won’t be able to do this at table service restaurants in Disney World.
Don’t Forget Your Button
Listen, we love this one. If you’re celebrating a special event while you’re at Disney World, you NEED to pick up a free celebration button. (So remember: Stop. Don’t Pass Go. Don’t collect $200 until you get your free button!)
To this point, DFB reader Russell shared, “Pick up a free celebration button for whatever you may be celebrating. A birthday, anniversary, first trip, etc. We’ve gotten pixie-dusted a few times. Whether it was a free dole whip, some kind words, or a free glass of champagne, the magic is still alive! It takes just a few seconds to get these, you can do it at the hotel as you check in or even at the parks.”
Multitask On The Go
Just in case you didn’t know, you don’t have to be physically in a quick-service restaurant in order to place your Mobile Order. In fact, this is a pretty legit hack that will save you some time and get you back to enjoying your time in the parks.
To that point, DFB reader Erin shared, “Mobile ordering at quick-service spots while en route.”
Take The Path Less Traveled
It’s true that sometimes there’s just a better way to do something, or in this case, a faster way to get into one of the Disney World parks.
To this point, DFB reader Carly shared, “If the gate lines are long at Animal Kingdom, go enter through Rainforest Cafe.”
Free Insulation
Look, sometimes you’ve got to get really creative when you’re at Disney World. If you’re looking for an ingenious (and free) way to help insulate a drink, this is the hack for you!
To this point, DFB reader Lonk shared, “If you have a pair of socks in your bag you can use one to insulate a beverage bottle you get in the park.”
Don’t Forget About Mobile Power
Last up, you shared a really practical hack and it’s one that can come in extremely handy especially when you think about how much juice your phone is going to burn through while at Disney World!
To this point, DFB reader Dianna shared, “Swapping out my FuelRod for free!”
Those were just some of your favorite 30-second hacks that you use at Disney World, and we want to hear more from you! Until then, keep it right here for all the latest Disney news! Also, follow us on Facebook to join in on the next discussion.
