Haunted Mansion Holiday has returned to Disneyland park for the Halloween-Christmas season. As construction continues outside the Mansion, the ride is using a virtual queue.
Haunted Mansion Holiday Returns
The Haunted Mansion Holiday is an annual “The Nightmare Before Christmas” overlay, where Jack Skellington takes over the mansion.
The hearse has been relocated in the queue.
Disney shared a closeup look at this year’s gingerbread display earlier today. Each year, a new gingerbread design is created for the overlay.
The Haunted Mansion has been closed for refurbishment and updates since January 2024. The changes are taking place in the outdoor queue and surrounding areas, which is why the ride is exclusively using a virtual queue at this time.
Boarding groups are released twice daily, at 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Guests will need to use the Disneyland app to join the queue. Read more details here.
The regular version of the Haunted Mansion will likely return in January 2025. Rumors indicate that the hanging corpse in the Stretching Room may not return, among other potential changes.
