‘Inside Out 2’ Box Office
“Inside Out 2” has continued its incredible run at the box office by becoming the highest-grossing animated film of all time. On Tuesday, July 23, the film surpassed $1.46 billion at the worldwide box office topping the $1.45 billion earned by “Frozen II.”
The film is the 13th-highest-grossing film of all time. It will now look to pass “Top Gun: Maverick” which made $1.49 billion at the worldwide box office. “Inside Out 2” is currently the second-highest-grossing animated film at the domestic box office. It is less than $10 million away from passing “Incredibles 2” for the number one spot.
After the film passed “Frozen II,” Disney Animation shared the above photo from their X (formerly Twitter) account. The image depicts Anna and Elsa passing the torch to Joy and Anxiety. The latter stands on top of Olaf’s outstretched arms as Joy looks on gleefully.
The incredibly popular film has made its way into the theme parks. “Inside Out 2” merchandise collection is available at the Walt Disney World Resort, and guests can meet Joy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Check out our review of the film.
