Two fan-favorite pretzels have returned to Walt Disney World. We tried the jalapeno and cream cheese pretzels at The Odyssey in EPCOT. These snacks were previously available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but they have not been absent from the parks for some time.
Jalapeno Pretzel – $8.25
The pretzel’s outside is golden brown with toasted cheese on top. While it looks good, the exterior of the pretzel was hard and definitely a little overcooked.
While the pretzel is stuffed with jalapeno-infused cheese, we were disappointed to find that there weren’t any actual jalapeno pieces in the pretzel. Because of this, the pretzel had little to no spice. Despite the lack of spice, this was still a well-flavored and savory pretzel. If you’re looking for a flavorful snack, this could be a good option. If you’re looking for a spicy snack, you should probably look elsewhere.

Cream Cheese Pretzel – $8.25
The cream cheese pretzel also had a golden brown exterior. Much like the jalapeno pretzel, it was harder than we would have liked. This could be from sitting inside a warmer for an extended period. Just be aware that if you purchase one of these pretzels during off hours, there is a chance they won’t be very fresh.
Unlike the jalapeno pretzel, the cream cheese pretzel actually met expectations. The snack offered subtle sweetness that may appeal to guests who are looking for a treat that isn’t as sugary as some of the others found around Walt Disney World. Though the pretzel was what we expected, there was nothing particularly special about it. We’re glad we tried it, but we probably won’t get it again.
