Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is officially open at Magic Kingdom. However, the attraction is still under construction at Disneyland. In our last update, we discussed more shingles and moss being added to the attraction. This week, we noticed the addition of more foliage and the removal of some scaffolding.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Construction
Construction crews were working on the track and landscaping near the top of the salt dome. Since our last update, more foliage has been installed alongside the final drop of the ride.
Workers were seen installing even more greenery on the landscape that towers above the bottom of the final drop.
Work continues to progress on the mill roof. Since our last update, shingles have been added to the backside of the mill, leaving the area almost entirely complete.
We were able to get a clear look at the splash-down area where most of the scaffolding has been removed. Cords and cables run alongside the track toward another area that is still under construction. Some foliage has been installed in this area, but near the track, everything is still concrete and lacking any new details.
Further along the track in this section, scaffolding is still up. A green mesh screen prevented us from seeing how construction in the area was progressing.
In the past two weeks, a significant amount of scaffolding has been removed from near the Tiana’s Foods water tower. Guests now have a mostly unobstructed view of the progress made in this area.
Tan tarps still stick out over the top of the “Come Join the Party” construction wall.
