More Millhouse Roofing Replaced at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disneyland

On a recent visit to Disneyland, we noticed that more of the roofing on the millhouse at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been replaced.

Construction site with scaffolding around a large, tree-covered rock formation. Workers are present, and various building materials and equipment are visible. Trees and plants surround the area.

On our recent visit to Disneyland Park, we noticed construction workers actively working on the millhouse roof at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. In our last update, some of the roofing was still missing or had yet to be updated. Now, new brown shingles have been installed on the side of the roof closest to the ride’s final drop.

All of the old faded roofing has been removed from the ridge along the top of the millhouse. This has left the tan area beneath the old roofing exposed.

Construction workers on scaffolding are performing maintenance on a structure surrounded by greenery, rocks, and plants. A green fence is partially obscuring the site.

The above photo shows how the roof looked just one week ago. Here you can see how much stronger the new roof’s coloring is, as well as where the new shingles were installed.

While there is still no official opening date for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, construction has progressed significantly over the last few weeks. In our last update, the Tiana’s Foods sign was installed. While we await more news about the attraction in Disneyland, can check out our full-ride POV of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, a Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Splash Mountain scene-by-scene comparison, and our review of the reimagined attraction.
