New ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Chimichanga is a Massive Meal at Disney California Adventure

To celebrate the release of “Deadpool & Wolverine,” The Chimichanga has arrived as a limited-time addition at Pym Test Kitchen in Disney California Adventure. Of course, we had to give it a review.

The Chimichanga – $13.99

with seasoned beef, charred poblano, refried beans, shredded cheese, guajillo sauce, and pico de gallo side salad

A metal plate held over an outdoor table features a Wolverine Chimichanga, a side of red sauce, and a lettuce salad topped with cheese and tomato.

This golden-brown chimichanga features Wolverine’s claw marks and is served with a side salad and spicy sauce.

A large, deep-fried Wolverine Chimichanga covered in red sauce is served on a metal plate. The hand holding the plate has a black wristband and bracelets. Lettuce and cream are partially visible behind the burrito.

The photo doesn’t do the size of this chimichanga justice. It’s massive and much bigger than we were expecting. Two people could easily share it, but it’s so good, you may not want to split it with anyone but yourself.

Everything about the chimichanga, whether it be the quality, texture, or flavor, is incredible. The meat is tender which pairs perfectly with the crispy exterior. The inside is loaded with cheese and peppers. We were pleased that the peppers weren’t too spicy.

The sauce that comes with the chimichanga is quite spicy, but the spice doesn’t take away from its excellent flavor. The only thing we didn’t like about the meal was the salad, but the chimichanga was so good, it didn’t matter.

Overall, The Chimichanga is a filling and surprisingly refreshing meal for a hot summer day.

Two individuals cosplaying comic book characters stand outside a building with an Avengers-themed logo. One, resembling Wolverine in a yellow and blue costume with claws, and the other brilliantly personifying Deadpool in a red and black costume with swords, strike dynamic poses.

To go along with the theatrical release of “Deadpool & Wolverine,” Disney has also announced limited-time character encounters, merchandise, food, and beverages at Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris.
