New White Chocolate Frogs Debut in Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort now has White Chocolate Frogs. Chocolate Frogs are a classic treat from the “Harry Potter” series and have been available in the Wizarding Worlds since day one. Dark Chocolate Frogs debuted two years ago.

The new White Chocolate Frogs can be purchased in Honeydukes Candy Shop at Hogsmeade in Universal Islands of Adventure, Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop at Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida, and Universal Studios Store in Universal CityWalk Orlando.

The White Chocolate Frogs come in a new version of the pentagonal Chocolate Frog box with silver designs and lettering. Classic Chocolate Frog boxes have gold designs and Dark Chocolate Frog boxes are bronze.

One Chocolate Frog is 3.5 ounces / 150 grams. It’s huge. Do not try to eat one all at once or you’ll get sick. They come wrapped in plastic and include a collectible wizarding card.

As you might expect, any chocolate frog is going to get slimy fast as it melts in the Florida summer heat.

There’s nothing particularly special about this treat. If you like white chocolate, you’ll like this frog. If you don’t like white chocolate, we’d suggest not to get this.

The real draw (and the reason for the price) of a Chocolate Frog is the wizard card. We got a card for Hengist of Woodcroft, the founder of Hogsmeade. This is an old wizarding card and, as far as we know, isn’t exclusive to the White Chocolate Frogs.
