EPCOT is a BUSY park — not only is it home to some of our favorite restaurants AND festivals when it’s the right time of year, but it’s also home to some of the most popular attractions in Disney World.

This means that the park itself can be crowded, and lines for certain attractions can be pretty intense sometimes. One of our favorite ways to skip all the lines was to purchase a ticket for EPCOT’s After Hours event, which allows a smaller group of guests into the park after it closes (for a separate fee). Well, we have an important update to share about this handy skip-the-line trick.

According to the Disney World calendar, all tickets for EPCOT’s 2024 After Hours Events are now SOLD OUT. This event has occurred on select nights from February 2nd through July 18th. It runs from 10PM to 1AM and allows access to nearly all the park’s attractions (including Cosmic Rewind with a standby line!) with low wait times. Not only that, attendees get unlimited free popcorn, bottled soft drinks, and packaged ice cream snacks, which are included with the price of a ticket.

Ticketholders can also get into EPCOT starting at 7PM to get the most out of their ticket. However, now that tickets are sold out for the remaining event this season, you may be out of luck. Unfortunately, tickets aren’t sold at the gate, so when they’re gone, they’re gone!

Now, tickets are still available for the remaining seven Hollywood Studios After Hours events, which take place on select nights through August 29th. This event offers many of the same perks, but takes place from 9:30PM-12:30AM with entry beginning as early as 7PM.

We’ve been to these After Hours events and can say that if you’re looking for the best way to skip pretty much ALL the lines in the park and encounter minimal crowds, this is the way to go, but we’d recommend buying it INSTEAD of a regular park day ticket for the same day. It can be a great idea to spend the majority of the day in a different park and then hop over to the After Hours event to get the most out of your day, OR if you’ve visited before and don’t want to do absolutely everything, you can just purchase the After Hours ticket and spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel or exploring Disney Springs.
