Mr. Tape has gotten rather popular with fans at Universal Studios Florida, and now guests can celebrate the character with a new T-shirt. This fictional character is the mascot for the fictional “Mega Video Rental” inside the 2024 summer tribute store.

Mr. Tape T-Shirt – $30

The T-shirt is heather gray with a red screen-printed design on the front.

Mr. Tape is featured on the front of the shirt. Above and below the character reads, “If it’s not rewound… you won’t be found…”

This wording hearkens back to the old adage of video stores everywhere: “Be kind, rewind.” Only here, the tone is much more ominous.

The Tribute Store Plaza logo is printed beneath the second half of the shirt’s phrasing. This logo can be seen on signage at the entrance of the Tribute Store.

Rides come and rides go at the Disney parks around the world.

It makes sense — the parks are constantly changing and older rides are either retired or reinvented. To that point, Space Mountain at Tokyo Disney Resort is closing tomorrow! Let’s go over the details!

You read it right. Space Mountain at Tokyo Disney Resort will close for renovation at the end of the day tomorrow, July 31st, 2024!

The renovated ride is scheduled to debut in 2027 and will have brand-new special effects and enhanced performance! It will maintain its original concept and will bring guests a new experience and new thrills when it reopens.

In the meantime, Tokyo Disney Resort has been hosting a celebration called “Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition!” that started on April 9th, 2024, and runs through tomorrow, July 31st, 2024.

Not only does this celebration come complete with special decorations and overlay for the ride, and a special photo op, but it also has exclusive merch.

So if you happen to be at Tokyo Disney Resort tomorrow, don’t miss out on the last day of this celebration.

We’ve already seen a viral light-up Mickey pumpkin released at Costco(!) and details revealed for the 2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. But if Halloween = snacks to you then we’ve got some TASTY news for you to sink your teeth into!
