The wildly popular Peter Pan’s Flight closed today in the Magic Kingdom for an extended refurbishment that is expected to last for several months.
Brown construction walls surround the entrance of the attraction. Currently, no visible facade work has started yet.
PPG Paints branded signs adorn the construction walls. Each sign features a different quote from the 1953 film that the attraction is based on.
The walls extend out to cover the attraction’s queue.
Despite the refurbishment, Peter Pan and Wendy could be found meeting guests in front the ‘Never Land Tribe’ mural. In 2022, a portion of the mural was changed from “Indian Camp” to “Never Land Tribe”, the first in a series of rumored changes to make the attraction more culturally sensitive for today’s audiences.
