Though Universal has yet to confirm, it looks like Death Eaters will return to Diagon Alley during Halloween Horror Nights 33. Sets and props for the villainous characters have been installed throughout The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Florida.
Universal Prepares for Death Eaters
A small stage is positioned outside Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes. We saw this same stage last year. It’s surrounded by crates and barrels.
The white panel on the stage features lights to illuminate the Death Eaters in green. For now, stanchions block the stage from guest access.
Nearby, there are more crates covering lights for the Death Eaters. The lights are all a bright green inspired by the light of the killing curse — “Avada Kedavra.”
Each crate has different props around it, like buckets and barrels.
Last year was the first time Death Eaters appeared during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida. However, they have appeared at Universal Studios Hollywood for a few years now.
This offering is kind of like a scare zone but without chainsaws or a story connecting them to the rest of HHN. Other announced scare zones include Torture Faire, Swamp of the Undead, Duality of Fear, and Demon Queens.
The last set of props is this series of crates in Knockturn Alley.
The Death Eaters do a presentation of their power on the Carkitt Market stage before wandering the land. Watch our video of this brief show below.
