The infamous Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at Disney’s California Adventure has reopened. The construction began on March 5 and reopened on July 28.
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail Reopened
The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is an interactive walkthrough featuring a rock climb, log slides, and a tire swing. Anyone is allowed on the trail but the activities do have height restrictions. It’s part of Grizzly Peak in Disney California Adventure.
We spoke with a Cast Member and they let us know that the ropes are new, there is new rubber mulch on the ground below the tire swing and everything has been freshly painted.
Here is an example of a freshly painted sign.
The ropes also received an upgrade throughout the land.
The reopening came right in time as the Halloween season is almost here. During the Halloween season, the trail is transformed into Villain’s Grove and a Cast Member-exclusive scare maze.
