Tiana’s Bayou Adventure just opened in Magic Kingdom, and to celebrate the re-themed ride’s opening, Disney brought a bunch of new treats to the parks and hotels. Now, there’s a new Tiana-themed dessert at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, and you know we had to try it out.
We grabbed the Over the Bayou Cake Bar from Amorette’s Patisserie for $8.
Amorette’s Patisserie
This is a vanilla cake bar coated in green-colored white chocolate with Tiana-themed decorations on top.

This treat had lots of vanilla flavor and was very sweet! It’s essentially a cake pop (you know, like the ones you get at Starbucks) in bar form. The treat was pretty one-note, and we would’ve liked a complementary flavor or extra element to break up all the vanilla.

There are little krispies inside the bar that add a crunch, and we liked that extra textural element.

The coating tasted like white chocolate, and the chocolate-to-cake ratio was just about perfect.

Be warned: this treat is SWEET. We think little kiddos will love the sweetness and the simple flavors, but if you just want a little treat, we’d recommend sharing this dessert with a couple of people.
