Story Time with Deadpool (and Wolverine) Debuts at Disney California Adventure Park

Story Time with Deadpool has premiered at Disney California Adventure Park, coinciding with the release of the film “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

Deadpool is now reading to guests in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure Park. The first performance of the show was at 1:40 p.m. Additional shows today will be performed at 2:30 p.m., 3:45 p.m., and 5:15 p.m.

Guests can find him in his favorite cozy reading chair. He tells the story of ‘Beautypool and the Wolverbeast’ from his big book of super special stories.

During the show, Wolverine showed up. Typical Deadpool style banter occurs between the two of them.

The show is a great time, very funny, and features a lot of really meta Disney references with some surprisingly off color jokes for a Disney park, including a joke about Splash Mountain.

To celebrate the opening of “Deadpool & Wolverine,” DisneyStore.com is selling new merchandise, A special Chimichanga meal has debuted at Pym’s Test Kitchen in Disney California Adventure, and a new Wolverine popcorn bucket has been released alongside the film. However, due to the Universal Theme Park Agreement, it is not available at AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theatre in Walt Disney World.

Wolverine is currently meeting guests in the Marvel Super Hero Island area of Universal Islands of Adventure.
