With the 76th Primetime Emmy Award nominations revealed, The Walt Disney Company has broken records with 183 nominations across its studios and brands.
Disney Earns 183 Emmy Award Nominations
Disney+ received 32 nominations, which includes series like “Ahsoka,” “Loki,” and “Echo.” Disney Branded Television’s “Jim Henson Idea Man” secured eight nominations, including Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Program, and is the most-nominated documentary this year.
FX set a new record with its highest total nominations in a single year, with 93 nods. “The Bear” swept its categories with a total of 23 nominations, and “Shogun” was the most-nominated show of the year with 26 nods.
Hulu Originals and 20th Television’s “Only Murders in the Building” broke a show record with 21 nominations including Outstanding Comedy Series. 20th Century Studios received an Outstanding Television Movie nomination for “Quiz Lady.” Hulu Originals received a total of 25 nominations.
National Geographic received three nominations, including a third consecutive nomination for the “Secrets of” franchise with an Outstanding Narrator nod for Paul Rudd. Disney Legend Angela Bassett also got an Outstanding Narrator nod for her work on the natural history series “Queens.”
ABC received a total of 38 nominations, including nine nods for 20th Television’s “Abbott Elementary.”
