New Dynamite Gentleman Tiki Mug Available to Club 33 Members at Disneyland

The dynamite gentleman is featured on a Haunted Mansion-inspired tiki mug now available to Club 33 members at Disneyland. The images of the mug were shared by the enchantedtikibar and timwollweber on Instagram.

The second tiki mug in the new Haunted Mansion-inspired collection is now available to Club 33 members. The first mug depicted the tightrope walker Sally Slater as she appears in the stretching room. There will be four mugs in the collection.

This new tiki mug features the dynamite gentleman, Alexander Nitrokoff. One side of the mug shows Nitrokoff as he appears at the beginning of the stretching room, with just the top half of his body visible. Beneath him is a green “33” and gargoyle candelabra.

The opposite side of the mug displays the fully stretched image of Alexander Nitrokoff. Here he stands on a keg of dynamite. The keg’s fuse has been lit by a candle.

The tiki mug is green with wood paneling and is the same as the Sally Slater tiki mug in every way except for who appears in the images inside the frames.

The cocktail served inside this new tiki mug contains spiced rum, Crème de Poire, chai syrup, lime, pineapple, Aperol, Campari, and fire bitters.

Club 33

A round plaque with a golden, compass-like design features the number "33" in the center. It's mounted on a light-colored wall at Disneyland's exclusive Club 33, adding an air of mystique reminiscent of the Haunted Mansion's enchanting tales.

Club 33 debuted in 1967. The private organization gives its members access to themed clubs, exclusive events, and offerings. Disney is reportedly developing a film about the secretive club.

Membership in the exclusive club is not easy to obtain. Guests join a waitlist that is often years long and must pay fees of tens of thousands of dollars.

Club 33 locations have opened at Disneyland Park, each of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, Disney California Adventure Park, Tokyo Disneyland, and Shanghai Disneyland. The first location was next to Walt Disney’s former apartment above Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland Park.

Club 33 membership is exclusive to each resort, and members at one location cannot use their perks at another.

Guest’s Personal Fan Takes Flight Off Incredicoaster at Disney California Adventure

A TikTok shared by @joce-hi shows the moment that a personal fan flew out of the front row of Incredicoaster at Disney California Adventure Park.

Fan Flies Off Incredicoaster

View of the IncrediCoaster tunnel at Disney California Adventure with a descending track and support structures visible inside. A large hammer decoration is suspended in the tunnel.

Please secure all loose items! It’s a phrase we’ve all heard when hopping aboard attractions at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. One guest will likely take that warning a little more seriously moving forward after a wild experience on Incredicoaster.

A TikTok with over 1.6 million views captured the moment that a fan launched out the front row of the high-speed roller coaster. While the bad news is that the fan is lost forever, the good news is it went straight through the track and no one was harmed.

I want to share that my fan was in the pouch but clearly forced itself out 😭😂😂 #besame #disneyland #disney #coaster #rollercoastertiktok #disneytiktok

When one commenter asked for the original audio of the moment, @joce-hi reposted the clip without any altered sound. As she and others on the ride start to scream as they’re launched through a tunnel, the fan flies out of the ride vehicle. Silence ensues, as she and her friend sit briefly stunned by what they just witnessed.

Train on Incredicoaster

Incredicoaster is located in Pixar Pier’s Incredibles’ Park neighborhood. The high-speed coaster features enclosed tunnels, special effects, scenes, and a musical score by “Incredibles 2” composer Michael Giacchino. The attraction went through a brief refurbishment earlier this year, which required crews to remove the ride’s loop.

Death Eaters Return to Diagon Alley for Halloween Horror Nights 33

Death Eaters are back terrorizing the streets of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Diagon Alley during Halloween Horror Nights 33.

Death Eaters in Diagon Alley

Two individuals dressed in dark, hooded robes hold out wands in a dimly lit, green-tinted setting. A column and a lantern are visible in the background, giving off an eerie Halloween Horror Nights vibe.

Death Eaters are back for another year of wreaking havoc in the streets of Diagon Alley. Voldemort’s followers first appeared at Universal Orlando Resort during The Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle at Universal Islands of Adventure. They made their Universal Studios Florida Halloween Horror Nights debut last year.

In 2022, a Death Eater scare zone was added to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The green light projection on the brick wall and archway under the metal bridge conjures an eerie ambiance akin to a secret passage in Diagon Alley, perfect for capturing the dark enchantment of Halloween Horror Nights 33.

A moving projection of the Dark Mark is projected on a nearby wall. A snake curls out of a skull’s mouth. Death Eaters all have a tattoo of this mark. They also send it into the sky when they kill someone.

Three individuals in dark, hooded costumes stand in a dimly lit setting with eerie green lighting, one leaning against a pillar and another holding their side. A wooden structure reminiscent of Diagon Alley looms in the background.

The show takes place on the stage where Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees and The Tales of Beedle the Bard are performed during the day. But this performance doesn’t only take place on stage. It also extends to the streets.

Two people in hooded robes, one wearing a mask with metallic details, stand in a dark, green-lit area reminiscent of Diagon Alley with a crowd in the background. A woman in a white outfit is visible behind them, evoking an eerie Halloween Horror Nights atmosphere.

After they point their wands to the sky, they take to the streets, searching for new recruits and victims brave enough to challenge them to a duel.

People walk through a dimly lit, indoor street scene with dark, medieval-style buildings and green lighting effects, reminiscent of Diagon Alley during Halloween Horror Nights.

We were able to catch a battle between one Death Eater and a brave wizard. Thankfully, good was able to defeat evil, as the Death Eater was disarmed. After the fight, the brave visitor was offered a Dark Mark by Voldemort’s minion.

Three people in black robes and masks hold up wands in a dimly lit, green-tinted scene with gothic architecture, reminiscent of an eerie night in Diagon Alley.

This year’s show is the same as it was when it debuted in 2023. Check out our full video of the Death Eaters invasion of Diagon Alley from last year’s Halloween Horror Nights below.

First Look at Map and Prizes for Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit 2024 at Downtown Disney

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit has returned to Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort. Different versions of the scavenger hunt are also available in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park for the first time.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit at Downtown Disney District

A person holds up a 2024 Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit card from Downtown Disney District, showcasing the exciting locations and detailed instructions for their next scavenger hunt adventure.

In Downtown Disney District and at Disneyland Resort hotels, guests can purchase a Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit map for $9.99 at the following locations:

Downtown Disney District, Disneyland Park, and Disney California Adventure Park each have a different map. Therefore, you will have to purchase a map at all three locations if you’d like to find all of the pumpkins.

Photo booths themed around pumpkins and leaves are set up along a pathway in Downtown Disney, ready for visitors to take photos. A sign indicates "Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit 2023 - Disneyland," with a map and prizes to guide you through the fun.

We picked up our map at the stand outside Disney’s Pin Traders. Nearby there were some Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit photo props available. The three pumpkin props have ears reminiscent of those found on Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. There is also a Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit 2024 frame.

Person holding a Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit 2024 map and prizes in Downtown Disney, showing themed pumpkins to collect, with baskets of pumpkin-shaped containers in the background.

The back of each map includes a sticker sheet. In Downtown Disney District, guests will find pumpkins inspired by Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Mrs. Potts, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy, Tiana, Moana, Lilo and Stitch, Baymax, Pinocchio, and BB-8. The stickers on the back of the map depict what each pumpkin in the area looks like.

After purchasing a map, guests will then search Downtown Disney District for the pumpkins. Every time they find a pumpkin, they add the corresponding sticker to the correct location on the map.

The game kicked off on August 30 and will continue through November 1, so you have plenty of time to search for pumpkins. That said, you aren’t required to find all of the pumpkins to pick up your prize. Only one prize can be redeemed per map.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Prizes

Pumpkin-shaped sippers are the prizes once again, but they have updated designs this year. Each sipper is inspired by a different character: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, or Stitch.

Hand holding an orange round cup with a black lid and straw, featuring cartoon Halloween-themed characters from Downtown Disney's Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit. Additional cups in baskets are visible in the background.

The corresponding character’s ears are on the side of the sipper. On the front of each pumpkin is the character in their Halloween costume and some spooky imagery.

The above sipper depicts Goofy’s ears and images of him dressed as a spooky tree. There are also skeletal hands and arms poking out of the ground and black silhouettes of birds.

A hand holds a pumpkin-shaped cup with a straw labeled "Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit," part of the fun at Downtown Disney. Baskets filled with similar cups are visible in the background, hinting at the excitement of finding map and prizes.

The back of each sipper says “Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit” in black.

The Mickey and Minnie sippers each have round black ears. Mickey is depicted wearing a pumpkin hat, while black bats fly all around him.

Description: A hand holds an orange, Mickey Mouse-themed Halloween cup with a straw, featuring Mickey and pumpkin illustrations from Downtown Disney's Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit. Several similar cups are displayed in the background, and two people in uniforms are present.

Minnie wears cat ears and is surrounded by white and pink pumpkins.

The ears on the Pluto sipper are similar to those on the Goofy prize. Pluto is pictured in a cauldron with candy around him.

A person holds an orange, pumpkin-shaped drink container with purple bat designs and a black straw, emblematic of Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit. Two employees in green uniforms stand behind a table with more containers, adding to the festive atmosphere in Downtown Disney.

The Stitch sipper features a pattern of Stitch jack-o’-lanterns. His blue and purple ears stick out of the top.

The Downtown Disney map can be redeemed for a prize at Disney’s Pin Traders or World of Disney. Guests can choose which of the five sippers they would like as their prize.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit 2024 Pin Set – $39.99

A hand holds a set of six Disney pins featuring the "Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit 2024" collection. The pins are displayed on an orange and purple backing card, perfect for fans who explored Downtown Disney for Map and Prizes.

There is also a limited-release Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit 2024 pin set available. You don’t have to play the game to purchase this set.

The five pins are inspired by the five sipper prizes. They come on a pumpkin-shaped backing card.

The scavenger hunt is also available at Walt Disney World during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.

Will you be playing Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit this Halloween Time? Let us know in the comments.

REVIEW: Emile’s Fromage Montage Items and Completer Treat for the 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

Your favorite food scavenger hunt is back, as Emile’s Fromage Montage has returned for the 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.

A signboard for Emile's Fromage Montage stands outdoors, displaying promotional text and images of various cheese dishes, with details on how to participate in a culinary challenge at EPCOT.

Dishes for Emile’s Fromage Montage can be found at several booths throughout the park. Guests can purchase any five items listed on the menu, collect a matching stamp for each item, and then return to Shimmering Sips with their festival passport to get the completer treat.

Signboard displaying dishes for a food festival, including poutine, garlic cheese bread, and frozen margaritas. Instructions for collecting stamps and redeeming a festival passport are included.

Eligible Food Items

  • Any Macaroni & Cheese from Macatizers
  • BBQ Pork Rinds from Festival Favorites
  • Any Warm Raclette from The Alps
  • Schinkennudeln from Germany
  • Spanish Charcuterie from Spain
  • Griddled Cheese from Greece
  • Pao de Queijo from Brazil
  • Passion Fruit Cheesecake from Hawai’i
  • Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli from Forest & Field
  • Boursin Fig & Balsamic Cheesecake from Milled & Mulled

Macatizers

  • Traditional Macaroni and Cheese with Herbed Panko – $5.50
  • 🆕Cheesesteak Macaroni and Cheese with Shaved Beef, Peppers and Onions, and Breadcrumbs – $6.50
  • Truffle Macaroni and Cheese – $6.50
  • IMPOSSIBLE Chili Macaroni and Cheese with Sour Cream and Cheddar (Plant-Based) – $6.50

Traditional Macaroni and Cheese with Herbed Panko – $5.50

epcot-international-food-wine-festival-2021-mac-eats-traditional-1-7109529

This is an outstanding take on basic macaroni and cheese. The cheddar is smooth and creamy, and the panko adds the perfect amount of crunch. What takes it to the next level is a small amount of spice that we believe may have been paprika. Even though this was the simplest dish on the menu, it was our favorite.

*NEW* Cheesesteak Macaroni and Cheese with Shaved Beef, Peppers and Onions, and Breadcrumbs – $6.50

A hand holding a container filled with macaroni mixed with cheese, slices of meat, and topped with breadcrumbs—a delightful feast that would be at home in any Food & Wine magazine.

This is a nice new addition to the festival, and the portion size is nice and hefty. The flavors are exactly what you’d expect but they’re good. The peppers add a nice roasted tang without heat. It’s easily one of the best options available at this booth.

Rank out of 7: 6

Truffle Macaroni and Cheese – $6.50

epcot-international-food-wine-festival-2021-mac-eats-vegan-2-7536507

The truffle macaroni & cheese was surprisingly well-executed. It’s a white cheddar cheese with the same macaroni as the other dishes. Neither the shaved truffle on top nor the truffle oil has the artificial taste you sometimes get from a truffle dish. It includes the same herbed panko as the traditional mac but doesn’t have quite as much flavor as the other dishes. It’s a good option if you want truffle flavor, but it’s at the bottom end of this booth’s options.

Rank out of 7: 4

IMPOSSIBLE Chili Macaroni and Cheese with Sour Cream and Cheddar – $6.50

macchilicheese2

This dish was disappointing and bland. It tasted like they took dry pasta and topped it with chili. We wanted more cheddar cheese in this dish and more flavor and spice in the chili. Stirring the chili up with the macaroni helped even out the flavor a bit, but it was still on the bland side and needed more. We would recommend ordering one of the other options.

Festival Favorites

  •  BBQ Pork Rinds served with Pimento Cheese – $5

BBQ Pork Rinds served with Pimento Cheese – $5

A white rectangular plate with three crispy chips on the left and a black bowl of creamy dip garnished with chives on the right, all part of Emile's Fromage Montage.

Some in our group like this, others think it’s terrible. A few of the pork rinds were a little over-fried and too hard to chew. The pimento was rich and cheesy with a very present peppery heat. However, there was also a sweetness that some of us thought ruined the dish. If you don’t mind the blending of sweet barbecue and savory pimento cheese, this might appeal to you.

Rank out of 7: 4

The Alps

  • Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Baby Potatoes, Cornichons and Baguette – $5.25
  • Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Alpine Ham, Baby Potatoes, Cornichons and Baguette – $5.75

Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Baby Potatoes, Cornichons and Baguette – $5.25

warm raclette swiss cheese 1

The Swiss cheese comes from an actual block of cheese that they’re melting and then scraping onto the plate. It’s a unique tactic, that’s also incredibly tasty. Unlike many dishes at the festival, this one has a good bread-to-cheese ratio.

Rank out of 7: 5

Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Alpine Ham, Baby Potatoes, Cornichons and Baguette – $5.75

warm raclette swiss cheese with shaved ham 1

This is kind of like an adult Lunchables. The only difference between this and the other raclette dish is that one has ham and the other doesn’t, but the ham is easily removable. The bread is fresh and very soft. It tastes like the baguette from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France Pavilion. The ham is just like the cold cuts you’d get at a supermarket: nothing special.

Rank out of 7: 5

Germany

  • Schinkennudeln: Pasta Gratin with Ham, Onions and Cheese – $5.25

Schinkennudeln: Pasta Gratin with Ham, Onions and Cheese – $5.25

germany food wine 2022 4 SHIN

We love the flavors of this dish, but it’s very heavy. It would be the perfect dish to warm up with in the fall when it finally cools off…but it’s summer. The dish is composed of pasta gratin with ham, onions, and cheese. Everything fits together nicely and is layered like a casserole. It may be a bit greasy, but its flavor and large shareable portion size make it worth it.

Rank out of 7: 5

Spain

  • 🆕Spanish Charcuterie: Jamón, Manchego and Pan Con Tomate – $6.50

*NEW* Spanish Charcuterie: Jamón, Manchego and Pan Con Tomate – $6.50

A square white plate holds sliced cheese, cured ham, and a piece of bread topped with tomato spread. This delightful Food & Wine arrangement is set against a backdrop of gravel and miniature railway tracks.

The Jamón takes a bit of work to cut, but the bread is nice and crunchy, and of course, you can’t go wrong with melty manchego. All around, this charcuterie is very good and everything is how you want it to be. For the price, we think it’s a killer deal. The portion was enough for our entire group to get more than a bite or two.

Rank out of 7: 6

Greece

  • Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey – $5.00

Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey – $5.00

griddled cheese 1

The caramelized top has a ton of flavor and tastes like a cross between cheese and crème brûlée. The pistachio adds a nice crunch and sweetness and saltiness to the overall flavor. It’s a really good cheese dish. If you love cheese, and you want something creative, this is definitely a good item to try.

Rank out of 7: 6

Brazil

  • Pão de Queijo: Brazilian Cheese Bread – $5.00

Pão de Queijo: Brazilian Cheese Bread – $5.00

Brazil CheeseBread 1 EPCOTFoodandWine 2022

It’s incredibly difficult to recommend these at over $2 each for a piece of cheese bread, even if they are pretty spectacular. You can find a bag of Brazi-Bites in your local grocer for a fraction of the cost if you want to indulge in cheese paradise.

Rank out of 7: 2

Hawaii

  • Passion Fruit Cheesecake with Toasted Macadamia Nuts – $5

Passion Fruit Cheesecake with Toasted Macadamia Nuts – $5

hawaii food wine cheesecake 2017

The fruit flavor of this cheesecake is rather tame; the passion fruit on top is subtle enough to be noticed without being overbearing, making this cheesecake nice and balanced. The macadamia nuts paired with the cheesecake are excellent. It’s not the most exciting dessert at the festival, but it’s worth a second look, especially at the price tag.

Rank out of 7: 5

Forest & Field

  • 🆕Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli with Sage-Brown Butter, Pecorino Cheese and Hazelnut Praline – $5.25

*NEW* Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli with Sage-Brown Butter, Pecorino Cheese and Hazelnut Praline – $5.25

A hand with painted nails holds a white bowl containing ravioli topped with shaved cheese and herbs outdoors in a sunny garden, creating an idyllic Food & Wine moment.

This was a fantastic new addition to the festival. It had a nice crunch with rich fall flavors enhanced by the cheese. The sage brown butter is a nice touch. We loved this.

Rank out of 7: 7

Milled & Mulled

  • 🆕Boursin® Fig & Balsamic Cheesecake with Fig Jam and Pomegranate – $5.25

*NEW* Boursin® Fig & Balsamic Cheesecake with Fig Jam and Pomegranate – $5.25

A delightful dessert with figs and crumble graces a white rectangular plate, partially eaten, on a pink speckled surface. Amidst the greenery in the background, this appetizing scene is perfect for any Food & Wine enthusiast.

Another great addition is this cheesecake. It’s soft and flavorful, and it’s airy and delicate, like a mousse. The Boursin gives it a muted tang. We can’t say enough about this item. It’s great.

Rank out of 7: 7

Completer Treat

Close-up of a clear glass with "Emile's Fromage Montage" and "International Food & Wine Festival" elegantly printed on it, held by a hand against an outdoor backdrop.

The completer treat you get at Shimmering Sips is a blueberry and vanilla ice cream swirl with a cheesecake piece. It comes in a souvenir Emile’s Fromage Montage cup you can take home.

A hand holding a clear plastic cup with a small piece of dessert in it, against the scenic backdrop of the waterfront and greenery, evokes the charm of Emile's Fromage Montage.

This is a pretty good treat. It’s light and refreshing. The piece of cheesecake is small, but that was honestly a good thing. It’s nice and moist, but too much of it could have been a lot, especially after all the other snacks we had to get this item.

If you’re able to get five stamps, then this is worth picking up. It’s a nice treat and the cup is cute. That being said, this isn’t so good that you should waste your time, money, and calories trying to get the stamps if none of the other food appeals to you.
