After being leaked thanks to theming being installed in the park, Universal Orlando Resort has officially revealed details for the fifth and final scare zone for Halloween Horror Nights 33, “Enter the Blumhouse.”
‘Enter the Blumhouse’ Scare Zone
This scare zone was first revealed on Thursday, July 25, after a structure emulating the Blumhouse Pictures logo was installed in the San Francisco section of Universal Studios Florida (and then promptly covered). Universal followed up the spoiler with a tease for the zone, saying that “good things come to those who wait.”
Today, the zone has been formally announced, with a new description shared on X (formerly Twitter):
Universal describes the scare zone as follows:
Run a terrifying gauntlet of Blumhouse characters. From The Grabber to M3GAN dancing into your nightmares, this is a new kind of horror.
This scare zone joins the other recently announced zones Torture Faire, Swamp of the Undead, Duality of Fear, and Demon Queens. Nightmare Fuel will also return with a new show, titled “Nightmare Fuel: Nocturnal Circus.”
This year’s event will include 10 haunted houses, though only nine have been announced so far. These include Slaughter Sinema 2, Goblin’s Feast, Major Sweets Candy Factory, The Museum: Deadly Exhibits, Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America, Triplets of Terror, A Quiet Place, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and Insidious: The Further.
Halloween Horror Nights 33 will be held on select nights from August 30 through November 3, 2024. Tickets are on sale now, though Unlimited Frequent Fear and Fear Plus with Express are sold out.
