D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is really hitting us with all the big news today, and we can’t get enough of it!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
We’ve been hearing tons of news about what Disney has coming down the pipeline for entertainment, the Disney parks around the world, and so much more. And the weekend isn’t even close to being over! About a year ago, it was mentioned that with the re-theme of DinoLand U.S.A. into The Tropical Americas, the show housed inside the Tree of Life in Animal Kingdom, It’s Tough to Be A Bug, would also be re-themed to a Zootopia show. It’s been radio silence since then, but we FINALLY have news to share!
Back in 2022, Disney briefly spoke about the possibility of bringing Zootopia to Animal Kingdom, and then in September 2023, it was officially confirmed! It was described as a new show for the Tree of Life that would be filled with humor and action, and Disney insinuated that it would be replacing It’s Tough to Be A Bug.

However, that wasn’t fully confirmed by Disney, and we’ve kinda been in limbo ever since… until NOW. The new show ‘Zootopia: Better Together’ will officially be coming to the Tree of Life theater in the winter of 2025!

It’s always sad to see something leave, but also exciting to see new attractions appearing in the parks. Disney also confirmed that Encanto and Indiana Jones will be part of the DinoLand, U.S.A. re-theme!
