Pixar revealed the first details of “Toy Story 5” at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The film is set for release on June 19, 2026, and Pixar confirmed the 2026 release during the Disney Entertainment Showcase.
The logo matches the other “Toy Story” logos, with a “5” at the bottom.
Written and directed by Andrew Stanton, the film will see toys face off against electronics. Concept art shows the saddened “Toy Story” gang looking at a child playing with a computer tablet under a sheet.
The film will also include 50 rogue commemorative Buzz Lightyear toys.
Disney shared a teaser online. Notably, the teaser and concept art include Woody with Buzz and Jessie after leaving the gang at the end of “Toy Story 4.”
