As we get closer to the start of Halloween Horror Nights 33, more theming is appearing at Universal Studios Florida.
Torture Faire Scare Zone
Since our last HHN construction update, blue and white-striped tarps have been added to the wooden booth outside the Palace Theater Arcade. The booth features a sign that reads, “Ye Olde Torture Goods.”
Torture Faire is located in the park’s New York section. A large stage is in front of Battery Park. It’s adorned with a “Ye Olde Torture Faire” banner and iron maiden. Newly added is a banner featuring two figures, or one figure doubled.
The Torture Faire description reads:
Come one, come all, to the renaissance faire with the devious theme of medieval torture. Brave the gloriously gory homemade torture devices ‘til you’re put out of your misery.
In addition to Torture Faire, scare zones for this year’s event include Swamp of the Undead, Duality of Fear, and Demon Queens.
Cafe La Bamba Food Booth
Cafe La Bamba has new decorations for their annual Halloween Horror Nights food booth. The bar has been decorated with a marquee reading “El Mercado De Los Monstros.” The last three words are written in red liquid — blood?
Pig heads wrapped in nets hang from lanterns around the bar. More meats hang inside. Rows of white candles sit above the windows on one side of the building.
Tickets are still available for Halloween Horror Nights 33, which begins on August 30.
The 10 haunted houses for this year’s event are Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines, Slaughter Sinema 2, Goblin’s Feast, Major Sweets Candy Factory, The Museum: Deadly Exhibits, Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America, Triplets of Terror, A Quiet Place, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and Insidious: The Further.
A new version of Nightmare Fuel, “Nightmare Fuel: Nocturnal Circus.” will premiere this year.
