Just in time for the kickoff of Passholder Appreciation Days at Universal Orlando, a complimentary new “Back to the Future” UOAP button is available.
‘Back to the Future’ UOAP Button
This is the first of two buttons available during Passholder Appreciation Days.
We picked ours up from Five and Dime at Universal Studios Florida, but guests can also grab it from the UOAP Lounge in Toon Lagoon at Universal Islands of Adventure.
The button is designed to resemble the Hill Valley clocktower with lightning shooting across the top. The clock’s hands point to 10:04.
The front of the backing card is black with a yellow and blue-outlined UOAP logo. Lightning flashes in the background. A yellow and blue border on the bottom features the #UOAP hashtag.
The back of the backing card reads:
GREAT SCOTT
A 1.21 gigawatt, 88 mph adventure that fried the clock tower.
Hill Valley is now safe, though Twin Pines Mall was reduced by one.
We bid it goodbye in 2007.
And now, 17 years later, it’s back.
Welcome back… to the future.
This references Back to the Future: The Ride, which was located in the World Expo area of Universal Studios Florida from 1991-2007. The Simpsons Ride now occupies the show building. However, you can still experience the ride in Minecraft.
This button will be available to pick up from either of the above locations from August 15-31 while supplies last.
Passholder Appreciation Days runs from August 15 through September 30, 2024 at Universal Orlando Resort, and includes the upcoming sold-out UOAP Nights. Read our report from last year for what to expect.
