Pokémon are taking over Studio Stars Restaurant at Universal Studios Japan for another Halloween season. The restaurant will have new Pokémon-themed food items beginning on September 4, 2024.
Pokémon Food at Universal Studios Japan
Guests will be able to dine on Pokémon food with Pokémon in a party-like atmosphere featuring decorations throughout the venue.
DJ Gengar Appears!? Black Beef Stew in a Pie Crust Plate
This plate includes a crispy pie filled with rich, flavorful beef stew. A DJ Gengar topper comes on top of the rice side dish.
Mimikyu’s White Cream Cutlet Burger Plate
This dish includes a white cream cutlet burger with a Mimikyu bun. Though the bun doesn’t have eyes, Mimikyu’s smile and rosy cheeks are displayed. Mimikyu’s ears stick out the top of the bun. A black and orange circular swirl topper comes on the side dishes.
DJ Pikachu & DJ Gengar’s Halloween Party Kid’s Set
The kid’s set includes items inspired by DJ Pikachu and DJ Gengar. The specifics of these items have not yet been revealed by Universal Studios Japan. However, one item features Pikachu’s tail, and the other features Gengar’s ears and hat.
The item is served in a box. Two sides of the box have high walls. One wall depicts DJ Pikachu above speakers, while the other depicts DJ Gengar sitting on top of an orange and purple speaker.
DJ Pikachu’s Lemon Soda & Sparkling Coaster Set
DJ Pikachu, in his blue, red, and white attire, can be found on the drink’s plastic cup. The set also includes a light-up “Pokémon Halloween” coaster.
Hitomoshi’s Gooey Yogurt Mousse Cake
The desserts are inspired by ghost-type Pokémon. The mousse cake looks just like Litwick (Hitomoshi in Japan). A blue flame sticks out the top of the treat.
Round Pumpkaboo Pumpkin Cake
The pumpkin cake is decorated to look like Pumpkaboo. The cake slice is meant to look like Pumpkaboo’s body, while the icing and topper depict the top of the ghost-type Pokémon.
Special Pokémon Halloween merchandise will be available starting on September 4. The “Pokémon Jumpin’ Halloween Party” and Pokémon meet-and-greets are also scheduled to return on September 5. Read more about Halloween, including Halloween Horror Nights, at Universal Studios Japan.
