A new series of “Tarzan” 25th anniversary merchandise has arrived at Walt Disney World. The collection includes a Loungefly backpack, which was sold out on our visit, Loungefly ears, a Terk plush, a Tarzan and Jane figurine, and a mug. All items were in Ziwani Traders at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We also found the ears and plush at World of Disney in Disney Springs.
Ear Headband – $44.99
The outside of the Loungefly ear headband is covered in forest green pleather, and the inside is lined with soft brown velour. The ears are surrounded by pleather patches of vines. The Minnie bow sitting between the ears is brown with a leaf pattern.
Tantor the elephant is pictured on the left ear against a blue and green jungle background. Terk is attached to the right ear with a button so she can swing back and forth.
A brown tag with the “Disney” and “Loungefly” wordmarks is on one side of the ear headband.
The back of each ear shows green moss-covered trees, vines, leaves, and other foliage in an otherwise empty jungle.
Terk Plush – $29.99
This plush turns Tarzan’s best friend Terk into a cuddly toy. Terk is a black and gray gorilla with a tall fluff of hair. She has embroidered features, including her brown eyes and smile.
There is no design on Terk’s back.
Tarzan and Jane Figurine – $229
This figure depicts the moment Tarzan and Jane first met in the 1999 film. The two characters are perched atop mossy roots beneath a green vine-filled treetop.
Tarzan squats with his hand outstretched. Jane kneels in her yellow dress, her eyes wide with fear as she stares at Tarzan. The figurine lights up.
Tarzan Mug – $24.99
Tarzan is pictured “surfing” down a tree branch on one side of this mug. He’s framed by a wood-like finish with green moss that spills down from the top of the mug.
“Disney Tarzan 25th” is framed on the other side of the mug against a jungle background. The handle resembles a twisted tree branch.
Tarzan and Jane Ornament – $26.99
This “Tarzan” Sketchbook ornament is not labeled as part of the 25th-anniversary collection but it is new. It depicts a scene from the end of the film when Tarzan and Jane swing on a vine together.
Jane looks loving at Tarzan. Tarzan has one hand on the vine and the other around Jane’s waist. A golden hook and red ribbon stick out the top of Tarzan’s head.
“Tarzan” was released on June 18, 1999. After it’s release, the film saw representation in Disney parks around the world. Tarzan’s Treehouse reopened at Hong Kong Disneyland in January 2024. Late in 2023, the former Tarzan’s Treehouse in Disneyland reopened as Adventureland Treehouse Inspired by Walt Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson
