Universal Studios Hollywood has released the details for Pass Member Appreciation Days, which begin on August 15 and run through September 30, 2024.
This year also marks the 60th anniversary of the park’s World-Famous Studio Tour. For Pass Member Appreciation Days, those with an annual pass can receive an exclusive collectible squishy tram and commemorative box, available on select days from August 28 through September 10.
Pick-up is located at the Front Gate turnstiles and only available to the first 3,500 guests daily from August 28-29, and September 4, 9, and 10.
You must be present with an Annual or Seasonal Pass on the day of pick-up. This offer is limited, and subject to changes in availability.
During this appreciation period, Pass Members can take a special lights-on walkthrough tour of the “A Quiet Place” haunted house that will be part of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights 2024 lineup.
This offering is available at the following times on Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 25:
Theme park admission is required. No photography, videotaping, or recording will be allowed during the tour. You can RSVP online starting August 21, 2024.
Buy one during regular Park hours and get the second one for 50% off. This year’s cup celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Studio Tour and features Woody the Woodpecker.
At Hollywood & Dine and Jurassic Cafe, Pass Members can grab the Blueberry Lemonade Spritz, available for a limited time. This offer is only valid during normal park hours and is not available during Halloween Horror Nights.
During Pass Member Appreciation Days, Pass Members can ask about the secret doughnut designed specifically for them and receive a 15% discount with their valid Annual or Season Pass. This secret doughnut is available for purchase only at Voodoo Doughnut in Universal CityWalk Hollywood. This offer is limited to the stock that the shop has on hand.
Pass Members can receive a 15% discount on the Pass Member Milkshake at The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen on Universal CityWalk Hollywood.
Platinum and Gold Annual Pass Members can also get a 15% discount on regular-priced merchandise inside the store. This offer does not include alcoholic beverages, specialty chocolates, and sweets in the Candy Smith, caseline bundles, promotions, technology, media products (DVDs, CDs, etc.), collectibles, and holiday promotions.

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort has a new mural on the lobby wall outside Intermission Food Court and Maestro Mickey’s.
The mural replaces photos of musicians from over the years, which made up the “All-Star Music Hall of Fame.”
The wall is the same aqua color as before. New is a yellow wave moving across the center, behind silhouettes of various characters playing musical instruments. The characters include Minnie on drums and Donald with a gong.
The character silhouettes are in the same aqua color or darker green, creating depth to the mural. Above the orchestra are music stanzas with white lines and red notes.
The notes create sheet music for the “Mickey Mouse March,” the classic theme song of “The Mickey Mouse Club.”
According to Cast Members, work began on the mural about three days ago. It was finished on Tuesday night.
While many of the characters are recognizable, others are deeper cuts. Some are inspired by background characters from short films.
A sign indicates the lobby mural is under refurbishment, but it appears to be complete and dry.
Appropriately, Maestro Mickey himself is pictured on a podium with a conductor’s wand next to the entrance to Maestro Mickey’s.
We also checked on Disney’s All-Star Movies and Sports Resorts.
It looks like at least Movies will be getting a new mural. The resort had a similar refurbishment sign in its lobby.
The photos of the “All-Star Movies Hall of Fame” have been removed, leaving faded squares on the blue wall where they used to be.
There are no changes at All-Star Sports, which features giant photos of sports figures. We expect it will get a matching mural, too, though.

Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro kicked off the night with updates on the new Pandora-themed destination coming to Disney California Adventure park. The area will draw inspiration from “Avatar: The Way of Water” and upcoming Avatar films like “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” and feature a new dynamic attraction where you can discover the beauty – and dangers – of Pandora.
We’re going un poco loco for the new attraction themed to “Coco” coming to Disney California Adventure! Guests will join Miguel on a trip to the land of the dead with beloved music and characters from the film. Work begins on the attraction in 2026.
A tribute to Walt Disney is coming to Disneyland with the debut of the first-ever Walt Disney Audio-Animatronics figure at an all-new show on Main Street U.S.A.! “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will premiere inside the Main Street Opera House and after its opening season, will transition to play in rotation with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.”
We’re going down the bayou on November 15, 2024 when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “The Princess and the Frog,” opens at Disneyland park! Also announced: Critter Country will be renamed Bayou Country when the attraction opens. We’re ready to let the good times roll!
Attention Star Wars fans: a new mission is touching down at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. The all-new story, centered around “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” arrives in 2026 in time with the film.
