Avengers Campus Wishables Arrive at Walt Disney World

We found Avengers Campus Wishables in Treasures of Xandar in EPCOT, but they are likely in other spots on Walt Disney World property, and DisneyStore.com.

Limited Release Spider-Man Wishables – $16.99

A hand holding a small, plush Spider-Man toy in front of a display with multiple similar toys. The toy has red and blue colors with black web detailing.

This Wishables series showcases Earth’s mightiest heroes from Disneyland’s Avengers Campus. Recently at D23: The Ultimate Fan Experience, Disney announced new offerings coming to Avengers Campus.

The Spider-Man Wishable is available separately from the mystery packs and is also a limited release. It is worth noting that the DisneyStore.com price is two dollars cheaper than in the parks at $14.99.

Limited Release Mystery Wishables Avenger Campus Series – $16.99

Close-up of a hand holding a Disney "Wishable" plush toy package from the Avengers Campus Series. The package features a squeezable Spider-Man plush toy. Other toys are displayed in the background.

In this limited release, each blind pack comes with one of four plushes. There is a chance you could get either Spider-Bot, Quinjet, Shawarma, a Web Slingers Ride Vehicle, or it could be the mystery character. Disney has made this a fun way to find your favorite or try to complete a set of six.

A hand holds two plush toys in front of Spaceship Earth at Epcot. One toy is a rolled shawarma with a "Shawarma Palace" wrap, and the other is a smiling toy bus with "SLING//R" on it.

Our reporter bought two packs and was able to find the Shawarma and a Web Slingers Ride Vehicle plush. Want to know how our reporters find out how our reporters find the Wishables they want? Follow our photo reports for details.

What Are Wishables?

Exclusively available at ShopDisney.com, the Disney Store, and various Disney theme parks, Wishables are a highly sought-after collectible. Most are sold in “blind packs,” which contain one of four different toys. The specific toy inside remains a surprise until the pack is opened, adding an element of anticipation to the purchasing experience.

In addition to the mystery packs, some Wishables are available for individual purchase, allowing collectors to acquire specific pieces without the need for multiple purchases. This combination of blind packs and individual availability caters to both casual buyers and dedicated collectors, making Wishables a versatile addition to Disney’s merchandise lineup.

Wishables are also a popular fixture on Boxed In, one of our YouTube shows that features merchandise from Disney parks.

BREAKING: Disney Destiny Maiden Voyage Date & Itineraries Announced, First Look at ‘Pirates’-Inspired Pub

Bookings for the Disney Destiny will open on September 12, and today we’re sharing must-know dates and details about the ship’s maiden voyage and inaugural itineraries so you can start mapping out your own epic vacations!

A large cruise ship sails on calm waters during a sunset, with pink and orange hues in the sky.

The Disney Destiny will sail its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Nov. 20, 2025. Not only will this special four-night cruise be your first opportunity to experience all this ship has to offer, but it will also include stops at both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations in The Bahamas – Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!

The maiden voyage will be followed by an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Every sailing will include a day of fun in the sun at either Disney Castaway Cay or Disney Lookout Cay — some itineraries will even visit both! — and select cruises will feature more sun-soaked relaxation and warm-weather adventure in Nassau, Bahamas, or Cozumel, Mexico. Stay tuned to disneycruise.com for dates and itinerary details before bookings open to the general public Sep. 12, 2024.

Aerial view of a beach lined with multicolored umbrellas and sun loungers, with a lush resort featuring various amenities and structures in the background.

As we chart a new course to tropical destinations, what better way to celebrate than with a toast to Disney’s most legendary Caribbean seafarers? Drink up, me hearties — we’ve ‘liberated’ a first look just for ye!

An ornate, dimly lit bar and dining area with intricately painted ceilings, wooden furniture, red cushioned chairs, and vintage decor, including lanterns and stained glass windows.

Aboard the Disney Destiny, you will join the ranks of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” at Cask and Cannon, a new pub inspired by the beloved Disney Parks attractions around the world! Here, you and your fellow buccaneers will regale one another with tales of your high seas adventures in an eclectic yet cozy lounge furnished with treasures “acquired” (AKA pillaged and pilfered) during the pirates’ many voyages around the globe.

An evening of revelry and recreation at Cask and Cannon wouldn’t be complete without an extensive menu of rare, specialty and vintage rums that would impress even the most seasoned swashbucklers. There will also be a not-so-secret selection of “bootlegged” brews developed specially for the venue and served straight from the barrel in true pirate style.

And rumor has it that the savviest treasure-hunters may even uncover a mysterious trove of looted libations served in an actual treasure chest! Sounds better than a bounty of golden doubloons, aye?

An illustration shows a restaurant with guests seated at tables, watching performers in traditional attire dancing on stage under vibrant, purple lighting. The setting is lively and festive.

Cask and Cannon is just one of many brand-new experiences awaiting you aboard our new heroes and villains-inspired ship! The Disney Destiny will also debut:

  • Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a first-of-its-kind dining experience celebrating the music of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Lion King”
  • Disney Hercules,” an all-new, Broadway-style show retelling the popular Disney Animation film
  • De Vil’s, a wickedly chic piano lounge celebrating the one and only Cruella de Vil
  • Edna Á La Mode Sweets, a one-of-a-kind confectionary inspired by Pixar Animation Studios’ “The Incredibles”
  • The Sanctum, Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge inspired by the powerful sorcerers and mystical artifacts of Marvel’s Doctor Strange
  • Plus, hero-worthy staterooms and suites featuring custom artwork of some of our most epic Disney stories; a new, villain-packed storyline aboard the AquaMouse water attraction; and iconic tributes to legendary Marvel Super Heroes like Black Panther, Spider-Man and Iron Man!

Your legend is beginning … and it’s time to start planning! Don’t forget, Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members can book a Disney Destiny cruise as early as Sep. 6, 2024, and bookings open to the general public on Sep. 12, 2024. Scurry on over to disneycruise.com, call Disney Cruise Line at 888-325-2500 or contact your travel agent to book!

Typhoon Lagoon Closing Date, Blizzard Beach Reopening Date Announced

Walt Disney World’s water parks are continuing the COVID-era tradition of only operating one park at a time, Typhoon Lagoon is set to close when Blizzard Beach reopens.

Walt Disney World Water Parks

Starting November 4, Blizzard Beach will reopen and Typhoon Lagoon will close.

Since the closures of the Disney Parks during the COVID pandemic Walt Disney World has only opened one water park at a time, Disney has not announced any refurbishment work that would consistently close the parks six months at a time. This is likely due to operational and production demands.

Before the pandemic both, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach would operate at the same time. However, due to lower demand in the winter, they would close Typhoon Lagoon for refurbishment work from time to time.

Preview the Themed Food and Beverages Coming to Halloween Horror Nights 33

We have a first look at some of the themed food and beverages coming to Halloween Horror Nights 33, thanks to Nerdist. These are just a sampling of the menus expected to be released sometime early this week, as the event begins on Friday, August 30.

Wooden Board Éclair – A Quiet Place

A chocolate eclair pierced by a metallic nail, with dark red syrup drizzled over, sits menacingly on a black surface against a dark red and black background, making for the perfect themed food at Halloween Horror Nights.

The éclair is filled with spicy dark chocolate cream and covered in chocolate ganache.

Mini Stay-Puft S’more – Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

A roasted marshmallow in the shape of a humanoid figure lies on a graham cracker, surrounded by red and black smoke-like effects, perfect for Halloween Horror Nights-themed food.

One of the most obvious choices when designing Ghostbusters treats, this mini Stay-Puft is your standard s’more with a graham cracker base, milk chocolate, and marshmallow.

Slimer’s Korean Corndog – Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

A skewered food item coated with a golden, crispy outer layer, displayed on a dark surface with a red-tinted background, reminiscent of the spooky delights you might find at Halloween Horror Nights.

Slimer’s Korean Corn Dog features his favorite Cheetos in powder form, along with Fritos, ghost pepper, sage derby cheese, and mozzarella cheese.

The Red Door – Insidious: The Further

A red rectangular object resembling a book lies on a dark surface, bathed in the eerie glow of vibrant red and purple lighting, evoking the haunting atmosphere of Halloween Horror Nights.

Have you ever wanted to eat a door? Following the style of the A Quiet Place eclair, here’s more edible lumber. This is a vegan handpie with potato and onions.

The Bride’s Cake – Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines

A Halloween Horror Nights 33-themed food delight, this volcano-shaped dessert features a dark exterior, green interior, and red filling at the center. Topped and surrounded by white frosting, it's artfully displayed on a round black plate.

The Bride’s Cake is a mini tiered vanilla cake (dyed green, of course), filled with raspberry jam. The outer coating is chocolate, not fondant.

Heart “Beet” Tostada – Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America

A single dish on a black plate contains a crisp tortilla topped with finely diced vegetables, microgreens, and crumbled cheese, set against a dark red and black background reminiscent of Halloween Horror Nights 33 themed food.

Universal has been expanding their vegan offerings for the last few years, and this is another. It features a tortilla topped with red beet tartar, hummus, vegan feta, and watercress.

Poison Apple – Major Sweets Candy Factory

A shiny red candy apple on a stick is placed on a black plate with crumbled chocolate resembling soil, next to small gummy candies, against a dark and red background—perfect for Halloween Horror Nights 33's Themed Food and Beverages.

While this looks like your typical theme park candied apple, it’s actually cake. That’s right. Get your phones ready to film your very own “cake reveal” video. It’s struesel cake with caramel mousse and apple filling.

Pumpkin Guts – Goblin’s Feast

A halved roasted squash on a rustic wooden block filled with colorful spiralized vegetables sits next to a small black pumpkin, creating the perfect themed food for Halloween Horror Nights against a dark background.

Another vegan option! These are veggie noodles made from butternut squash and zucchini topped with pumpkin seeds and vegan brown butter. They’re served inside an actual squash.

Harissa BBQ Turkey Wing – Goblin’s Feast

A barbecued chicken wing coated in sauce is placed on a wooden platform with a decorative skull in the background, perfect for Halloween Horror Nights-themed food and beverages.

The Goblins aren’t all vegans, of course. This is a standard turkey wing slathered in harissa barbecue sauce.

Murder-ita

A drink in a Halloween Horror Nights cup sits on wooden coasters beside a skull and a candelabrum in the background, adding to the eerie ambiance with its chilling themed beverage.

One of this year’s signature drinks, the Murder-ita, is made from Cuervo Tradicional tequila, Dekuyper triple sec, lime juice, agave nectar, and salt.

Night Elixir – Dead Coconut Club

A blue cocktail in a martini glass with a sugared rim and lemon twist garnish is placed on a tray next to a painted skull. A black candelabrum is in the background, setting the perfect scene for Halloween Horror Nights.

The violently blue Night Elixir is coming to the Dead Coconut Club at CityWalk (themed this year, seemingly, to vampires and Blumhouse). It features Beefeater London Dry Gin, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Bitter Truth Violet Liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup, and edible glitter.

Dia de los Muertos Shake – Toothsome Chocolate Emporium

A decorated dark jar holds a whipped cream-topped dessert, adorned with a colorful skull-shaped cookie and a flower, reminiscent of Themed Food at Halloween Horror Nights, against a red and black backdrop.

Toothsome’s signature shake this year is themed to Dia de los Muertos and topped with a sugar skull cookie and an edible marigold. The shake itself is made from chocolate chili ice cream.
