Agatha Appearing in New ‘Agatha All Along’ Outfit at Oogie Boogie Bash

Disneyland Resort revealed on Instagram that Agatha Harkness will appear in a new outfit from “Agatha All Along” at Oogie Boogie Bash this year.

Person with long dark hair wearing a blue coat and white shirt, standing in a confident pose with one hand raised in front of a background with blue lighting, as if ready for an "Agatha All Along" performance at the Oogie Boogie Bash.

The new look is a blue coat with purple velvet lining over a white blouse. Accessories include a cameo necklace and earrings.

Four individuals, dressed in a mix of casual and formal attire, walk through a misty forest with serious expressions, surrounded by dim natural light and dense trees, almost like they're headed to the Oogie Boogie Bash.

Agatha is seen wearing the outfit in the “Agatha All Along” trailer. The new Disney+ series, a spinoff from “WandaVision,” premieres on September 18.

Agatha debuted at Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure in 2021. The witch appears on a treat trail in Avengers Campus.

Other Oogie Boogie Bash changes include the additions of Hades and Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

Watch the “Agatha All Along” trailer below.

“Agatha All Along” stars Kathryn Hahn, reprising her role as Agatha “WandaVision” head writer Jac Schaeffer returns as the show’s executive producer and head writer. The show also stars Joe Locke as Billy Kaplan, Aubrey Plaza as Rio Vidal, Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu, Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale, and Debra Jo Rupp as Sharon Davis.

The series finds Agatha powerless after escaping her containment in Westview, New Jersey. Billy Kaplan, a goth teen, breaks Agatha out of a distorted spell and begs her to take him on the legendary witches’ road, a series of magical trials that if survived, will reward Agatha with “what she is missing.”

Another “WandaVision” spin-off series starring Paul Bettany as Vision is also in the works.

Hades Meet and Greet Debuts at Oogie Boogie Bash 2024

Hades is appearing in his own treat trail meet-and-greet during Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure for the first time. Disneyland Resort previously teased that Hades and Dr. Doofenshmirtz would join the Disney Villains lineup at the Halloween event.

Hades at Oogie Boogie Bash

A performer dressed as Hades from Disney's "Hercules" stands on a decorated stage under a "Hades Hideaway" sign, illuminated by blue lighting on the left and red lighting on the right, during the Villains Lineup at the Oogie Boogie Bash.

TikTok user @karen_inwonderland shared the following video of the new character meet-and-greet from the Oogie Boogie Bash Cast Member preview on Friday night.

Hades appears as a face character on a stage decorated as his “Hades Hideaway” with a throne and Greek vases. The character has glowing blue hair that actually changes to red when he’s angry. The fake flames of the set also change color.

The “Hercules” villain appears on the Hollywood Land backlot stage, replacing the live-action Cruella de Vil. Mother Gothel is no longer a meet-and-greet character this year but is appearing in the finale of the Frightfully Fun Parade instead of Hades.

Disneyland Resort revealed a first look at Dr. Doofenshmirtz from “Phineas and Ferb” before his debut at the event.

Oogie Boogie Bash takes place on select nights from August 25 through October 31. The separately-ticketed after-hours event sold out in July. Guests can enjoy rare Disney Villains appearances, the Villains Grove in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, the Frightfully Fun Parade, and more.

What do you think of the new Hades meet-and-greet? Let us know in the comments.

Full Video of New Version of ‘Fire of the Rising Moons’ Fireworks in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland

A new version of “Fire of the Rising Moons” is now being presented in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park. This unique show offers a different vantage point of the park’s main fireworks show — “Halloween Screams” as of August 23 — but with “Star Wars” narration and music. It’s presented by the droid Bard on select nights.

‘Fire of the Rising Moons’ Fall 2024

Red fireworks burst in the night sky above illuminated rock formations, creating a vibrant display against the dark background, reminiscent of the legendary fire of the rising moons.

The show first debuted in April 2024. Its second version premiered soon after to align with the “Together Forever” fireworks presented during Pixar Fest. Now, the show has debuted its third iteration. It features similar sequences to the other two versions just rearranged and scored to sync with the current fireworks.

A robot stands illuminated on a platform at night against a rocky backdrop, its metallic frame glinting in the fire of the rising moons.

Bard, who was added to the show a little over a month after its initial debut, is stationed on a platform above the Black Spire Outpost spaceport. He plays a recording of Tohan Ledge, a.k.a. the Lore-weaver, who is long gone but lives on thanks to Bard. Tohan made Black Spire his home and recorded its history while on the run from people in power who hoped to silence him. Bard now holds Tohan’s stories of Black Spire and presents them via fireworks.

Colorful fireworks burst in the night sky above silhouetted rocky formations, resembling the fire of the rising moons during a celebration.

Watch our video of the new iteration of the “Fire of the Rising Moons” fireworks show below.

“Halloween Screams” is performed with projections nightly and fireworks on select nights at 9:30 p.m. “Fire of the Rising Moons” is performed at the same time.

Full Video of 2024 ‘Halloween Screams’ Fireworks at Disneyland

Halloween Screams” is back for another Halloween season at Disneyland Park. The nighttime spectacular illuminates the park with projections every day of the week and features fireworks on select nights (usually weekends). We caught the entire show with fireworks on its opening night.

‘Halloween Screams’

A nighttime scene at a theme park with silhouetted attractions, featuring colorful fireworks bursting in the sky amid Halloween screams from thrilled spectators below.

Here is Disney’s description of “Halloween Screams”:

Your nocturnal delight kicks off with an eerie greeting from your “Master of Scare-omonies” Jack Skellington and his ghostly dog Zero—spirits from ‘Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.’ As Jack and Zero fade into the night leaving you to enjoy what’s to come, settle in and embrace the jump-worthy collision of sights and sounds—soaring images of ghosts and classic Disney villains like Maleficent and Ursula the Sea Witch—all set to a medley of Halloween-inspired songs… one showstopper after another.

Finally, as you reach the grand finale, there’s no need to be shy. Feel free to sing—or scream―along! Plus, on select nights, you’ll also be able to watch sparkling fireworks possess the sky.

Fireworks light up the night sky above a brightly illuminated castle, surrounded by dark trees and foliage in the foreground, echoing with distant Halloween screams.

“Halloween Screams” will be performed nightly at 9:30 p.m. through October 31 (weather permitting). The show is approximately 10 minutes long. Guests with MagicBand+ will see their band light up or feel it vibrate in sync with the show.

Watch our video of “Halloween Screams” with fireworks from opening night on August 23, 2024:

A different fireworks show also means a new version of “Fire of the Rising Moons” in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This show features a different angle of the park’s fireworks with special “Star Wars” narration, music, and the droid Bard. Stay tuned for our coverage of the updated version.

Halloween season officially began at Disneyland Park on August 23. Mickey and his friends debuted new Halloween costumes, more villains were added to the Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade, and the “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” stage show returned.

Italian Restaurant Replacing Planet Hollywood at Disney Village

Over a year and a half after Planet Hollywood in Disney Village permanently closed, construction permits have revealed that an Italian restaurant will take over the space.

New Italian Restaurant at Disney Village

disneyland paris planet hollywood

Disney Village is an area located outside of the Disneyland Paris theme parks featuring dining, shopping, and live entertainment. It is similar to Disney Springs and Downtown Disney District. Planet Hollywood at Disney Village permanently closed on January 7, 2023. DLP Works discovered that a new building permit was filed on July 16, 2024 for an Italian restaurant in the area.

The new restaurant is rumored to be managed by Groupe Bertrand, which also manages the district’s new French restaurant, Brasserie Rosalie, and The Royal Pub. Both restaurants opened last year.

Disney Village has been undergoing a significant reimagining. Work to the area includes a complete makeover for The Sports Bar, a transformation of the Disney Store into Disney Wonders, the addition of a Disney home store (replacing Disney Fashion Junior), the addition of a Disney lifestyle shop, a new McDonald’s, and general landscaping and lighting updates. Emblems representing every Disney Park returned to the entertainment quarter last year.

Are you happy that Planet Hollywood is being replaced by an Italian restaurant? Let us know in the comments.
