The Disneyland Hotel has gotten an extra “Haunted” makeover for Halloween Time at the resort. As part of the spooky festivities, the stretching portraits from The Haunted Mansion have taken over the lobby to the Disneyland Hotel. Even before that, the statues from the animal graveyard fill the sliding doors and frightfully welcome guests. These fun decorations […]
For those seeking a classically spooky souvenir, the 2024 Halloween popcorn bucket and travel tumbler have arrived at Disneyland Resort.
Halloween Popcorn Bucket – $14.25
The popcorn bucket has a white base with a black handle and a black lid. A twist on the Sanderson Sisters from “Hocus Pocus” is featured with the return of Minnie Mouse as Winifred, Clarabelle Cow as Mary, and Daisy Duck as Sarah. They are gathered around a bubbling cauldron and barrels of apples. Multicolored jack-o-lanterns are in the foreground.
To the left is Mickey Mouse in his new skeletal costume. In the background, Scarecrow Goofy flees the Headless Horseman.
To the right, Huey, Dewey, and Louie hide behind some gravestones with The Haunted Mansion looming in the background.
Where to Find the Halloween Popcorn Bucket
The Halloween Popcorn Bucket is available at popcorn carts throughout Disneyland park. At Disney California Adventure, it can be found at popcorn carts near Grizzly Peak Airfield, Pixar Pier, and Carthay Circle Restaurant.
Halloween Travel Tumbler – $14.99
The travel tumbler has a white base but a purple lid. Some of the art is similar to the popcorn bucket, but it’s not identical. Here, Mickey takes up the center, a finger to his mouth to shush us as spooky specters lurk in the background.
Minnie, Clarabelle, and Daisy reappear as the Sanderson Sisters, sans cauldron. This time, they’re skulking about in a graveyard.
There are glowing eyes abound on the tumbler, peering from the shadows.
Chip ‘n’ Dale appear in their Angel and Devil costumes, while Scarecrow Goofy cowers in the background.

When CommuniCore Hall was first announced, it was touted as the new Festival Center for EPCOT’s constant schedule of celebrations throughout the year. The concept art initially presented a rotating museum of sorts, but what opened was more of a space-to-take-a-break. The space is currently […]

A new Ghost Mickey bottle topper is here at Disneyland if you like your Halloween style a little more cutesy than creepy.
Ghost Mickey Bottle Topper – $7.49
He’s not just a bottle topper! Ghost Mickey also comes with a straw. The screw-on blue lid serves as his perch and the orange straw runs through. When it’s off, he’s solid white.
When you activate the light-up effect, the light flickers between orange, green, and purple (though it looks a little red in photos).

The “Nightmare Before Christmas” Zero light-up straw clip is back for Halloween 2024 at Disneyland Resort.
Zero Light-up Straw Clip – $7.49
The Zero light-up straw clip can attach to any straw, technically, but it works best with a twisty straw so it doesn’t fall down into your drink. It comes pre-set with a purple twisty straw.
The ghost dog of Jack Skellington is complete with his little jack-o-lantern nose. The clip matches his translucent white body.
On the underside is the button to activate his otherworldly glow and a battery compartment, which can be accessed with a small screwdriver. Batteries are included.
Where to Find the Zero Light-up Straw Clip
The straw clip is available at both Disneyland Resort theme parks.

Among a horde of novelty items this Halloween season at Disneyland Resort, a Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Glow Cube brings a little classic autumn style.
Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Glow Cube – $6.79
Can it still be called a glow cube if it’s Mickey Mouse-shaped? Disneyland merchandising says yes. The glowing portion is shaped like a little pumpkin, topped with a green stem. Black Mickey ears sprout from the top, embellished with debossed spirals.
The back has a small warning sign and the Disney logo. The glow cube can be activated by a small button.

Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull at Tokyo DisneySea will close for a year beginning in 2025.
Indiana Jones Adventure Closure
Tokyo Disneyland has updated their temporary closures list to state Indiana Jones Adventure will be closed from March 5, 2025, through March 4, 2026.
The closure may be for an extensive refurbishment of the attraction, which opened with the park in 2001.
Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull is a similar ride experience to the Disneyland attraction, Temple of the Forbidden Eye, which opened six years earlier and is set in India. However, the Tokyo version features a different story about an Aztec temple guarded by a crystal skull. It’s unrelated to the fourth Indiana Jones film, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” (2008). The ride is located in the park’s Lost River Delta port themed to a 1930s Central America archeological site.
DINOSAUR at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is set to become a third version of the ride as part of the Pueblo Esperanza land replacing DinoLand U.S.A. This version will have a new story set in a Mayan Temple and featuring a mythical creature, connecting it to the park’s theme. DINOSAUR utilizes almost the exact same ride track as Indiana Jones Adventure so the “new” Indy ride is expected to still be similar to the original. It will open in 2027.
