A sewage backup in select loops of Fort Wilderness Resort at Walt Disney World has left areas unusable for guests for several days.
Sewage Backup in the Street at Fort Wilderness
During a visit to Fort Wilderness, we saw that loops 600-1,000 were blocked off with orange cones as murky sewage filled the road.
This backup prevents guests from waiting for the resort bus at the stop seen in the above photo. This incident is potentially related to a water main break that happened at the resort over the weekend, which closed the main road through there.
This isn’t the first time that a sewage backup has happened at Walt Disney World or even the only time in recent memory. A sewage incident happened earlier this month at Magic Kingdom, shutting down multiple attractions and canceling cavalcade. It was eventually cleared enough for the morning’s Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade to perform.
It is unknown exactly when the sewage backup will be cleared from the 600-1,000 loops at Fort Wilderness Resort, but Cast Members are in contact with a company to get the issue repaired.
