Sewage in the Street Leaves Loops Unusable at Fort Wilderness Resort

A sewage backup in select loops of Fort Wilderness Resort at Walt Disney World has left areas unusable for guests for several days.

Sewage Backup in the Street at Fort Wilderness

A flooded road section surrounded by orange traffic cones near a small covered shelter, with trees in the background and grass along the sidewalk.

During a visit to Fort Wilderness, we saw that loops 600-1,000 were blocked off with orange cones as murky sewage filled the road.

This backup prevents guests from waiting for the resort bus at the stop seen in the above photo. This incident is potentially related to a water main break that happened at the resort over the weekend, which closed the main road through there.

This isn’t the first time that a sewage backup has happened at Walt Disney World or even the only time in recent memory. A sewage incident happened earlier this month at Magic Kingdom, shutting down multiple attractions and canceling cavalcade. It was eventually cleared enough for the morning’s Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade to perform.

A similar incident occurred in 2023 when most of Frontierland was closed due to a ruptured sewage line.

It is unknown exactly when the sewage backup will be cleared from the 600-1,000 loops at Fort Wilderness Resort, but Cast Members are in contact with a company to get the issue repaired.

‘Disney Junior Dream Factory’ to Permanently Close This Month at Disneyland Paris

The “Disney Junior Dream Factory” show at Disneyland Paris is set to close at the end of this month.

‘Disney Junior Dream Factory’ Closing

Mickey and Minnie Mouse are dressed in steampunk-themed outfits for Disney Junior Dream Factory, standing on a colorful stage with industrial decor in the background.

Guests can enjoy “Disney Junior Dream Factory” until August 31, 2024, when it will permanently close. The show is performed daily at Studio D in the Production Courtyard area of Walt Disney Studios Park. It is approximately 20 minutes long.

In the show, guests join Mickey and Minnie Mouse to help make the factory’s dream-making machines work. Together, everyone will “unleash the magic of song and dance” to get the dream machines working again.

A colorful stage scene with life-sized costumed characters. Two characters are in the foreground while two stand on elevated platforms. The background features vibrant lights and industrial-style decor.

Disney Junior characters in the show other than Mickey and Minnie include Fancy Nancy, Timon, and Vampirina.

The show originally debuted three years ago, on July 1, 2021. It was originally slated to open in spring 2020, but those plans were stalled due to the pandemic.

Walt Disney Studios Park is set to be renamed to “Disney Adventure World” with the opening of its new World of Frozen land in 2026. Also debuting that year will be a new nighttime spectacular on the park’s Adventure Bay, another part of the expansion. A “The Lion King” themed land is also in the works for the park, first announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

See the full (yet empty) model of Disney Adventure World from D23.

Will you miss “Disney Junior Dream Factory” once it closes later this month? Have you ever seen it in person? Let us know in the comments.
